Many thanks Pelican

Need a hotel in Central London (pref North Kings X/ Euston) - two nights 15-17th April (2 adults), £140 per night - anyone stayed in any good ones they can recommend please?
Thanks in advance!
wondering about this one...
Absolute gem ideal for West End & Oxford St Shops - 4* - London
Original artworks line the walls of this British-colonial-style hotel, which is ideally situated in the heart of London. This is an Edwardian building which has been sensitively restored to its original architectural style. With both the West End and Regent Park less than 500 yards away, your location is perfect and your hotel luxurious, stylish and sophisticated.0 -
Hi there,
I'm looking for a great 4* or 5* central hotel for 3 nights for April 6th with a budget under 130 per night. My husband and I will be running around the city day & night so the extras of gym,/pool /spa aren't necessary but a location that is easy to get around the city.
I greatly appreciate any recommendations
Thanks!!!0 -
Hi,
I'm looking for a nice hotel with a good location April 9 to 12 (saturday-tuesday, 3 nights). I adult and a nine year old child.
When is the best day to book, when do they ususally lower the price? I've seen some ealier comments say Tuesday-Wednesday before the weekend, is that correct?
The hotel I'm looking at is
Fabulous Find in the West End = Washington Mayfair Hotel? and Absolute gem ideal for West End & Oxford St Shops, which hotel is that?
More tips?
Many thanks0 -
Have booked a show in London and want to stay for 1 night on 29th April. Was going to leave it until the week before and hopefully pick up a secret hotel. However as this is the day of the Royal Wedding is this a good idea?0

Hello everyone,
First time poster, long time reader. I'd appreciate some help. I'll be taking my mother and aunt to London on May 1-4, and would like to pamper them a bit in a very good hotel. We'll need 2 rooms, and I don't want to spend more than 150£ per night; total budget is therefore 900£.
I just saw on Lastminute a top secret offer for an "Iconic 5-star deluxe hotel in the heart of Mayfair." Having Googled the description, I think this is the Claridge's. Can somebody confirm this? It's just within my budget, so could someone also confirm whether 150£ per room per night is a good deal for this hotel. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks,

Not much available at the price you're looking for, stays that overlap both midweek and weekend are never good for deals as you have to compete with both the business and the leisure crowds. Only thing I can recommend is "Upscale property in West London, Kensington" which is the Hilton London Kensington at £100. Not as central as you might like but the transport links are good and Westfield is across the road.0 -

Risky and difficult to predict. Currently bookings do not look particularly heavy but that could change. Best deals are likely to be found in Docklands or the City.0
