Have potted £2.55 today, and a bit of shrapnel yesterday.
Went into town today (Mum decided she needs a cool box to keep things in 'cos 2 fridges isn't enough :rotfl: ) and it was no worse than a normal Sunday which was a relief! Funnily enough, the shops haven't got many cool boxes in though - I was lucky to get a bag and ice pack thingies in Argos
Still made it in and out as fast as possible though
Cheers all

On the bright side I am visiting family for a week on Tuesday so can be the daughter that eats all their food and save my money incase I need to cover all the rent.
Have potted a whole $5 this week and will have more once the puppy gets desexed tomorrow is it slightly evil of me that I am looking forward to him wearing the cone of shame?
Like carbootcrazy, I hope it wasn't your furniture? :eek:0 -
Well,my kids might get some Christmas presents this year, after all
:rotfl:.
With being in Oz for two weeks, then a couple of days recovering from jetlag, then getting back into work,I haven't had alot of time to shop.Have nicked out for a couple of quick trips, but nothing too substantial.
So,today,I got to go to the shops :j:j.
I had done lots of browsing online, and ordered a few things to collect. But also it gave me lots of ideas for pressies for the kids (because none of them will show me their letters to Santa!).
Now a big dent has been made in my Chrissy shopping. While the kids are out,I will spread everything out on the floor to see what everyone has got,who I still need to buy for.
Does anyone else do this: lay out the presents to make sure all the kids have the same-ish amount,AND try to make the piles look similar price-wise,even though most items my kids would have absolutely no idea how much each toy would cost.It is not that long ago, that everything in my 6yo's world cost 10p!:rotfl::rotfl:Also need to make sure there is enough for their stockings!
Potting-wise,Argos was the place buy £2 coins today. One Argos branch gave me two, another gave me one £2 coin.I am sticking to my resolution to save EVERY £2 coin that crosses me.Had to put them in a seperate part of my handbag so I didn't hand them over by accident.Paid for stuff with shrapnel instead :rotfl:.
Right,so ,have just potted all the coins from my purse after shopping today:
£2 coins x 3
£1 coins x 4
50p coin x 1
20p coins x10
assorted shrapnel,totalling £1.02.
So,total of £13.52.
(note to self,I also got around to posting the £20 I said I was about to pot the other night: the first of the £20 notes I had been paid extra by customers last week).SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76
