Not posting much but still potting steadily even with Christmas looming. Potted £3 today but around £7 in total over the week.

Hi all, going to do this again this year, last year signed up and never done it slaps wrists !!, but done it the year before and it really helped even though it was opened slightly early due to circumstances...car.

Nothing in pot today, I did go out and took a friend of mine out for a pub dinner that was his Xmas present, it was more appreciated than a present but I paid on debit card so didn't use cash and then had to go to the garage for a new light bulb that took all the change in my purse!!! Anyway tomorrow I will be going out to get some bread and milk for the weekend so I should be able to pot some then. I have a family dinner on Sunday but I am organised for that so no more spending for a couple of days after tomorrow.

Oh dear - poor you Sue. I had sinusitis a few years ago and can sympathise as it's so painful. I expect you're on ABs so hope it soon clears up. You might find some olbas oil on a tissue helps, or even try putting some menthol in very hot water in a bowl and sit with your head over it, making a tent with a towel.


On potting news I put £10 in today for this week. It's starting to sound a lot more like it now :rotfl:

I have now upgraded to a family size Coffee jar and I have red electrical tape that I am about to cover my see through jar

I feel like I am coming up in the world :rotfl:

Can I join in the fun? I'm about to start my 'new life' as a retired person, so need to watch the pennies and the pounds. Plus I have more time. I already kind of do this: save small coins, £2 coins, points on loyalty cards, do surveys, and so on, but not in a systematic way. This will focus me and I would love to see how much I actually do save.
