    Hello everyone!
Can I join in the Sealed Pot Challenge this time?

I need to re-focus myself to start clearing some of my credit card debt next year as we're wanting to raise a deposit for a mortgage, so I'm hoping this will help me to keep my change safe throughout the year.

I currently allow myself £10 a week as 'pocket money' and in theory any change from that week should go into a piggy bank to put towards my debts, but it always seems to disappear! :o

So going to use this as a way of putting that change somewhere safe and inaccessible until the declare date!

    Kez

You can most certainly join us, kezbabybabe. A very warm welcome to you! :grinheart Have fun saving and enjoy the banter when you post of your conquests. You'll find your number below this welcome. Please read through the 1st Post as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. PS. We always empty our pots and declare our savings in November, please make a note of this year's date: 3rd Nov 2016.

Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away. ;)

*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.

kezbabybabe - Please note that your new No is 020. The previous owner has not returned, if she does she's welcome to re-join and be given a new No. BTW. You're not the only one who had problems sticking to saving before SPC came along (yes, me too! :o) but all being well, you'll now become the same as the rest of us and leave it all in the pot and be chuffed to bits next November!!! You CAN do it, Kez!

Afternoon, SPCers, have a really good Thursday! Oh my, we're getting soooo very close to Christmas! Time to check everthing's being done - me I mean. {{{Hugs}}} to all you family members feeling poorly, I do so hope you're all so very much better soon. :)

I did check! I really really did! and Cherry Burtons name is next to number 469 the same as her siggy  i'm all confuddled now :rotfl: I assumed she was on the list as she was declaring her savings but thought i'd better double check as some new savers do pop on how much they've saved on their own IYSWIM.

£1.20 found under DS's bed this morning, obviously he didn't know it was there so i've put it safely in my pot :D

Oh my word what a blunder I made, jakes-mum!!!!!!!! You won't believe this (oh yes you will) but I didn't even look at the 2nd membership list, what a twit!!! :undecided It isn't you who's confuddled - tis you who was doing the job right!! Thank Heavens you were too. Many apologies to you, j-m, what would I do without you! Truth, I don't know, but thank goodess you had your wits about you yesterday. Another gold star is yours and by heck do you deserve that!!! :staradmin VERY MANY THANKS indeed. :kisses:

Yes Nannyg, a bit like the old "from tiny acorns mighty oak trees grow." Look at your small pottings like that and you won't go wrong. ;)

Cor..isn't the thread ever moving quickly, siju! A good sign we've got more very determined savers with us! Time for you to get excited with so few working days left!! :j Great savings.

Ok A_Star, I've updated your Target, all the best with it.
Won £17.60 (£15.60 profit) on EuroMillions last night, one of the rare times I've had a go on it:j. I've put the £10 note in the Holding Pot for now and the £5.60 in coins has gone straight into my SP:j.

It's a sealed bucket (optimistic or what????:rotfl:) and I can still hear the coins hitting the plastic bottom so there's a long way to go yet;)

I'm delighted for you, carbootcrazy!!!!! :j That must have been one of those meant to be moments for you!!! I don't blame you for potting the £5.60 at all, we have to be optimistic when lady luck shines upon us! :D Fingers crossed for the holding pot, and don't worry, there's loads of time for the bottom of your pot to be covered....and more!

Well done, Brass_Triumphant, a little more is just great......

    ....you too, Kerry...

....yes you 'n all, 32b3! :D I hope the meal was delicious.

Hello there, Cheryl, it's always lovely to have folk wish to re-join and you're no exception so a warm welcome back! :grinheart As you realise, your No is no longer the correct one as I had a major overhaul of the list a couple of years ago as so many folk had stopped saving. ;)
    Please note
that your new No is 020.
The previous owner has not returned, if she does she's welcome to re-join and be given a new No. (Please swap your old No for the new one, thanks a lot.
