A very good evening, Potters. I hope you've all enjoyed a lovely weekend, a great day today also. A busy day for DH & I as we left early to go 'back home' to Hampshire to visit a much-loved relative; so worth the journey and the time! :grinheart Many {{{Hugs}}} to any poorly members, I hope you're all soon well enough for Christmas.
It looks like you've got a challenge on your hands, frasersmum, and determination may even help you exceed it, I hope so.I didn't keep up with the thread very well last year. It moves too fast for me sometimes. I need to be better this year. Please will you accept me back Sue-UU?
No need to even ask the question, starnac, of course I will. Try and visit us more often as it'll help keep you motivated. Better luck for SPC 9!
Sincerest condolences to you on the loss of your dear Dad, smiffy. An extremely hard time and sadly so many wishing to 'make' out of your grief. Very best wishes for tomorrow and feel proud of all you've achieved.Harleyquinn wrote: »Mother dearest has decided to help me with this one so keeps putting in any and all money she finds in her pockets. £30 went in yesterday from her!! I've absolutely no idea of the total, I'm just glad there's money there haha
Be thankful and very grateful of her help and contributions, Harleyquinn, as she clearly wishes to help you.kezbabybabe wrote: »My husband is on board with helping too, so he might put some shrapnel in.
We were given a Money Pot for our wedding, so we'd be in the habit of putting £2 coins in there since August 2014, that was emptied ready for this challenge and there was £300 in there! Hoping that's also given me the habit of keeping back the £2s at least!
Well done on what you've previously saved, Kez! :T It's just great to know you have yor Hubby's support...his cash too with luck! All the best with those £2s! :j
Would I mean the adjective "unique" to be anything other than complimentary to you, jakes-mum?! No, well there you are then, so, you enjoy it, until.....I can think of another to replace it!!! :rotfl: Good potting with the £20!

Good spotting and potting, [Deleted User], a very healthy find.
It's so good to know you had a wonderful time, Chutney, and well done with the savings.
I so agree with your words to smiffy, 32b3, I suppose it's because the memories are highlighted by every following Christmas.Well saved.
You're still doing well with saving at least, wealthygirl, and no doubt all will turn out just fine come the day. Here's hoping you have pence to save after tomorrow's shop and well done with Pinecone!

I have Potted 85p this morning.....and Potted a little bit over the Weekend....So I'm happy with that....
Hope Everyone has a great day....stay warm and safe....xXx0 -
Sending virtual hugs to you both Smiffy and Honey. Such sad news
I've potted £1.11 in loose change over the past few days. I spied some lonesome coppers in the car yesterday too, so might have a rummage later.
Hope everyone is ready for C-Day xxx0 -
Brilliant potting, everyone:T
My Holding Pot is looking healthy at the moment, or rather the contents are;). It's only a glass jar and as it isn't my Sealed Pot I haven't bothered to cover it to conceal the contents. It's more useful to me to be able to see what's available if necessary without having to open it. If I can hang on until New Year without having to spend much of it there'll be a nice amount to 'post' into my SP:j.
Looks like I'm wishing the rest of the year away:rotfl:0 -
15p yesterday found in the bottom of my bag - well it all helps!
