Last bit of potting before Christmas. I've managed to get 5 x 50p today from shopping, so into the pot they go, along with a stray £1. So £3.50 in total

Have managed to pot £1 today.. its been sitting on the side for a few days. Nobody claimed it so isn't it possession is 9 tenths of the law? Or however the saying goes.

£4.12 potted today.
About £2 something of that was found in the washing machine. Naughty me washed the clothes two days ago and never got them out, so after washing them again and then making sure I hung them up to dry in the bottom of my washing machine lay a shiny few coins which have been added to my pot, and the rest is change from getting the Christmas food today (although I forgot the turkey?!?!) I ask you!!!! How on earth does one forget the turkey?!?!
Back out tomorrow then I suppose to go get one. Luckily that means more change for the pot!
Hope everyone has finished their Xmas shopping! I am waiting for one more to be delivered.
Hope everyone had a good day! And merry Xmas! If I am not on here again before the 25th!

First day in 10 that I haven't been running around like mad. DH had left some coins on the side, so I've potted about £3.

37p in the pot after clearing out my purse and wrestling my change from my son after I sent him to get us a cheeky portion of chips from the chip shop.
Went to Mr T today and the Rotary club were there collecting, DD's eyes are like saucers because Father Christmas is outside on his sleigh! So we have to go over to tell him that she's made him a card and that her list will be in the front of her stocking, then he gave her a sweetie so she was even more thrilled :rotfl: We did then have to have a conversation about how he was going to get back to the North pole as 'thats not his real sleigh mum, thats on wheels' . . . me: 'umm umm umm, well i'm sure he came here on a reindeer love like in The Santa Clause 2 so his reindeer must be grazing somewhere and will take him back when he's finished talking to all the children'
Am now trying desperately to wrap all the presents when I have absolutely no storage in my bedroom to hide anything!
