Why is it that when I could afford to save £2 coins I never seemed to get any in my change yet now I can't I get them practically every time I shop:think:
Had to use a car park today which is very unusual for me as I find a free place on the street and walk (seems like miles sometimes;)) to wherever I'm going. Everywhere was so crowded today and as I had an elderly infirm passenger I needed to bite the bullet and use the car park nearest to our destination:(.
Of course, not being used to car park fees I hadn't the right coins with me:o and had to dash into the nearest shop and buy something really cheap to get some change and for which I profered a £20:eek:. Got 5 £2 coins included in the change which I can't afford to pot:o. I'm tempted to start a special £2 pot now but it will probably go hungry for most of its life.0 -

Have already taken the advice on board, Sue and Lynne. I've had a Holding Pot from the beginning, for any coins that stop me being able to shut my very small purse. In fact in a recent post Sue you congratulated me for going about things the right way by having one:rotfl:
I intended to just pot small change, never notes:eek: as I never have any unspent at the month-end:o.
But I just fancy a special £2 pot, I love those £2 coins:rotfl:. Maybe trying to save the odd lovely £2 now and then would be fun:j0 -
