Good luck Saver Upper, I too will be trying to wrap all the presents today while youngest stands outside the door and wails 'can I come in???' I'm hoping your parents live close so you can do a few trips over too them easily :eek:

Haha Themillions, my eldest is a teen and he gets terribly over excited by Christmas (and holidays, his birthday, Easter . . . ) youngest will go to bed happily at 8:30 ish and go straight to sleep ready for Father Christmas, eldest will still be bouncing off the walls at 11! :eek: 3/4 of a pot full already is amazing!

Right, I must get my arris in gear and drag the miserable one to Mr T for the Christmas shop so he can moan about parking, moan about traffic, moan that we haven't got enough biscuits (we have six boxes! . . . Make that five, he ate one!) moan he wants miniature heroes (cos we only have 4 boxes of quality street ) . . .

Congrats to the Lucyhope family what a lovely Xmas you'll all have.

All done now, only needed hay for the gpig, so it was all done a couple of days ago really. I'm off to dd 3 tomorrow for my dinner, but then home as they are visiting friends later on, so a nice quiet night for me.

Anyway, just a small amount potted today, the change from the hay but better in the pot than elsewhere!!

I don't celebrate Christmas, but the happiness from all the people does rub on me. Though right now I am at work, covering for all the colleagues on holiday. It is eerily quite here and I can post in any thread I want without looking over the shoulder.:rotfl:

I thought about being lazy and getting a takeaway as I have no saucepans or hob space left after preparing all veg etc for tomorrow :rotfl:

However, I talked myself out of it and I have put 2 pizzas and garlic bread in the oven instead.

Nothing like a bit of money saving eh

Well, been to Mr T and it wasn't terrible, did all my shopping, and found £5 roadkill :eek: feel awful for the person who lost it but I just didn't know who it belonged too as there were hundreds of people who walked past it so its in my pot. DD also found 2p roadkill and gave me that to keep it company

Also had a lady pick a coat up from me off a FB sale so £10 in the pot from that too :eek:

Thats alot of money for a christmas eve!

Anyway, all my wrapping is now done and i've run out of wrapping paper! :eek: I NEVER run out of wrapping paper! DH will have to scrounge round downstairs for the half roll I have been using to wrap ebay sales for the last 6 months to wrap his presents for me :rotfl:

Right I am now off to enjoy some Christmas Eve films with the troublesome lot and will be back to see what Father Christmas brought you all on Boxing Day

Thank you for your good wishes everyone, we were at the hospital withing an hour and a half of him being delivered! First Granny squishes are the best!!! He's gorgeous ( but I could be biased). DD2 and her hubby are sooo proud of themselves, just sorry she won't be home until tomorrow because of a problem with her after delivery. DGD2 wanted to know what time Auntie M's baby would be delivered and would it be Tesco or Yodel :rotfl:

Sorry to be so late, everyone, but I've had 3 young helpers round making mince pies etc. How many 19 Grandsons make mince pies for their Granny & Granddad eh; must give a mention to his 9 yr old Brother and 13 year old Sister. 3 of our 5 Grand treasures who create such a wonderful Christmas warmth. :A:A:A
