Well,I have finished Christmas shopping :j. I think.Hope I don't think of something else I "must",or "forgot to",buy.For the first time in the 13 years since we have had kids,we were going to wrap all the presents tonight,instead of sitting up til 3-4 am on Christmas day doing it .But when I went to ask OH if he was ready to start,he had fallen asleep.So we will have to find a way to do it tomorrow.
We will be sleeping at inlaws' Christmas eve,because with building works,and "stuff" all over the house,there is no room in our house for 4 children to open presents.(This year we haven't even got room for a Christmas tree :eek:.No tree or decorations for us this year.)
So in the morning we will have to work out how we are going to wrap presents with 4 children hanging around,THEN how to transport said presents over to the inlaws' house and hide them until the kids all go to bed.

Potting-wise,I have £15.60 to put in my pot.All coins that were weighing down my purse!! £14 of it is £1 coins :eek::eek:.
I got it all out of my purse and counted it,ready to pot,but when I took it upstairs I realised how noisy it would be to pot all those coins,so I have put them back in my purse to do tomorrow.Just remembered I also have a £2 coin from the other day (had put it in a seperate part of my handbag so I didn't accidentally spend it.)I think my purse is looking forward to a well-earned rest.Don't think it has ever had so much exercise,being opened and closed so many times a day!!

If I am not back on here for a few days (no internet at inlaws' house),please,everybody,have a very Merry Christmas xxx

IT'S A BOY!!!!!!
Born yesterday at 5.50pm weighing 7lbs 9oz, mother and baby are well.
First grandson for DH and I, we're thrilled to bits, he's lovely. Mum, Dad and baby are staying with us over Christmas so it's not only going to be a very happy one, it's also not going to be a quiet one this year!!!!

Well done everyone on the final total, that's amazing.

Ooh congratulations Lucyhope! What a lovely Christmas gift. We are going to my parents for Christmas, my sons are 18 months old and 8 weeks old and are doted on by their grandparents

How exciting that it's Christmas Eve!! Merry Christmas everyone .. Off delivering family gifts today so quite a busy day but will be lovely to see everyone.

Of course my children are very excited even though they are in their early teens, even more excited when they found a lovely shiny 50p yesterday whilst out shopping with hubby, I did not even get to see this 50p as they had already put this in the pot!!

Well my pot is about 3/4 full already, and it's so heavy, so looking forward to filling this one and starting on the next - would love to have 4 pots done so each one of us can have one to open in November next year.
