Found you, found you.A lovely new home for us all............

Sue,I was so certain I had more money than I had counted for SPC 8,that I spent time this evening reading through the SPC 8 thread, and added up how much money I said I had potted in each post. One thing I did notice was that there were a couple of long gaps where I didn't post (so probably didn't pot),so the total might be right-.ish
With noticing that I had a couple of long-ish spells without posting,I had a thought: this year I must pot more regularly, and with that, post here.
So I had a thought,Sue-how would you like a year of me yacking at you from one side more frequently, and Jake's mum from the other :D.It will be great, hey??

I already have change to pot,but I haven't bought any pots yet.Might do that tomorrow.
This is going to be a great year,potters-look at all the new people asking to join already :j:j:j.

Westie983 ,thank you for the advice re Halifax-that is a great explanation. This weekend I will do abit of reading up and ,hopefully, set up an account.I have been wanting to do it for about 2 years, but never really understood the system/had the money (thought I needed "new" money each month.)

We empty our pots and declare our savings in November, please make a note of this year's date: 3rd Nov.

Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away. ;)

*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps

If you've got my pm, Westie, then i'm hoping things are correct now, have a look and see what you thing, and bless you for the proofing.

NB: Members who have been members for a while and are on the list do not need to re-join, thanks Potters.

Excellent work Helen, your mind is very money conscious these days - keep it going that way and the health benefits too!!!!! :D

Your Target is already on dazzaofdagenham!

You're welcome, stepuptothepl8, keep hard at it!! :j

    A good start, benten6.

You'll do far better this year, mossy, the holidays, much as all love them, make a huge difference. All the best with this, your 4th year...though it seems as though you've been here for yonks, truly! ;)
    ...and you're away, Chutney!! :j

Well it doesn't happen often, Saver-upper, but thoughts of having you AND jakes-mum [STRIKE]nagging [/STRIKE] talking to me on a daily basis leaves me.........bl:silenced:dy speechless!!!!!! You two can't half natter....and the pair of you remind me of Les Dawson and Roy Barraclough as Cissy and Ada!!! :rotfl:
Got my pot today. 79p in home bargains and have gone with a closed one. So excited and looking forward to going on this journey with everyone.

Excellent work, rainbowgirl, you're acting like a true SPCer, it becomes addictive, but in the best way possible!! If you're hoping for a specific amount by next November then, put X amount away in your pot each week - but - still add bits of change etc with it so you're never fully aware of what you've saved - that way you'll get a super surprise as well as being sure not to be disappointed!! :D I reckon you're determined to do well!!! :j

I knew you'd be in, Caz, would my twin NOT be!!!!!! I have to agree with the "end result" part, I rely on it and I know you do, what a great buzz too!!!!!!! :grinheart
    Sue xx

NB SPC Savers: For 2016 - 3rd November will be the new opening date! Don't forget your diaries digital or otherwise.

Anyone wishing to join us, it's NEVER too late, so please just ask, you'll be made very welcome. :grinheart

Anyone wanting to show a picture of their pot on the thread, here are directions by jakes-mum: "Go to www.photobucket.com and create an account, click the orange 'upload' button at the top and select your picture from your computer. Once uploaded, select the picture and click 'edit' then 'resize' change the first size number to 400 and click save. On the right hand side click the link next to 'direct', come back here and click the little picture of the mountain above the reply box, delete out the http and right hand click, select paste and your link should get pasted in. When you post your reply your pic should be there and not absolutely massive". :D Many thanks, jakes-mum, you are a gem!

You could now just say 'if you want to add a photo to your post please refer to post #42, this will then direct readers to the post where I have copied it out?? or even better get Jakes-Mum to repost the instructions on the thread then link to her post?
PLEASE take note everyone Thursday 3rd November is the closing date for 2016, the day we declare what we've saved. Please, kindly declare your monies saved within 2 weeks of the 5th
