I understand exactly what you mean, mrs-moneypenny...and why not - as it's such an exciting time of our saving year! You pop in and have a look whenever you like! I don't like to hope too soon, but I think I have a healthy feeling about the Grand Total, we'll see!

Good point about highlighting names - Common sense has never been a close friend of mine. When I saw people referring to roadkill on here I genuinely used to think they were picking up dead animals off the road and couldn't work out how it was making them money! I'll admit that as this is an anonymous forum

I'd like to say I was speechless, Antomac, well I am really but....:rotfl::rotfl: As a nature lover that's the only term I'd ever associated with, then I came to MSE and things changed - a lot!!! Strangely enough I only came in to have a look round as my DD said it was really good, since then I doubt I could ever go out and shut the door on it for good. You're so right though this is an amazing forum for certain, and look what it's done for so many! :grinheart

It is so inspiring seeing the total amounts saved 😀

I would like to declare £1313.38

I am using £1000 for my wedding dress (exciting) and banking the £313.78 to go towards our holiday in the summer to Disneyland Paris.

I can't believe I have managed to clear all my debts and save that amount 😀

Ah well, it was never going to be a huge amount as it was roadkill and shrapnel, but it does pay for Small to go to the pantomime with his class this year, so I'm cool with that.
