Hi all, an update from me. £84 this year. Sig updated. Very disappointing but I have had heavy expenditure this year. Oh well, onwards and upwards for next year.

Edit to say that I have saved £125 in my online banking. I know it doesn't count here but it does add up to a reasonable amount saved. Going to join the virtual spc now lol

Hi Cinders: yes, you've been pretty rubbish this year with your atendance, so time to step up to the mark and turn things around!! ;) No rubbish year with spending though, although you know what you can do with the elastic band!!! :rotfl: Congratulations to you as you've saved just brilliantly!!!!!:T:dance:

Hi there, owlet! On the conrary, I think you've done VERY well indeed!!! To be honest you could have been wise by saying you'd banked £125 that was in your pot and it would have been fine! ;) Still, too late now, but the £84 that you've potted is just fantastic!!!! :j:T:j I know some SPC members who would have been ecstatic with it!! Forget VSP and remember "I've banked......" ;) Be as wise as your name! :D

Hi everyone, I am coming to update on my amount for the year...#283 £291.86.

I focused on saving £200 with Tesco Christmas Saver which got me a £12 bonus so that is handy. ;) So the remaining £79.86 is in my sealed pot which I originally posted as my total but forgot you can include Christmas clubs in this.

Was doing well with my VSP amount but had to use that during the year. I tend to keep my sealed pot sealed until the week before Christmas so more will go into this but I always keep a total of it for this.

So even I had planned that my target amount of £300 would all be in my actual sealed pot, I still got near my target,
    Barclaycard: £4,217.55/£5 = 0.11% | Tesco £3,810.55/£3,770.55 = 1.05%
    Total: £8,027.80/£5 = 100%/0.06%
    Mortgage £99,692/£51,652.33 51.8%
    Car Loan: £9,217.20/7,527.38 81.67%

  • SPC Member 020 declaring £43.87! Our first year and I think that's pretty good going, as I didn't have much change for the second half of the year and husband was putting in coppers!

Great news is that the jar I was using has survived another emptying, so I don't need to buy a new one just yet. :o

I'd like to stay in for 2017 too, please. :)

    #501 declaring an amazing, jaw-dropping total of....£12.19...:rotfl:

Takes a bow and exits stage left, blushing furiously...

Ah well, it was never going to be a huge amount as it was roadkill and shrapnel, but it does pay for Small to go to the pantomime with his class this year, so I'm cool with that.
Oh, Dizzy, I feel for you, I thought my little total was going to be too small as well, but we are proud of it. :)

    # 65 with a total of £536.37 to declare. Haven't posted much as this year has been pretty rubbish in RL. However the banter and encouragement on the thread has helped enormously. So a huge thank you to everyone, and especially Su-u for her efforts in trying to keep everyone under control and running the thread. Hopefully next year will be able to post more.

It might not be a huge amount, annibell, but depending on what you need it for, it can still be quite a LOT, especially to a poor person who's desperate, to you also where you already written as much! The main thing is..that YOU saved it, and for that you should be so very proud!! Many congratulations to you, you did very well indeed!!!! :j :T:j You're already in for SPC 10!
