Hi all,
I am sorry but I had to empty my pots today - going to be extra busy next 2 weeks at least due to setting up a new service. I have saved a total of £257 this year. I am super chuffed with myself as it's my first year with chidcare to pay for AND I've cut my hours down at work - well a whole day to be precise.
Thinkng about next years target - I have a pot ready and waiting - with 3p in already

We lost my BIL suddenly at the begining of the year understanbly we were devastated 
My sister had only been married 2 1/2 yrs:( and he was ill for 5 weeks and gone so been spending alot of time with her and helping but today we have been sea side today as my sisters birthday:T
Dear bubbs, I was so terribly sad to hear the tragic news of your Sister's husband, how devastating indeed! Little wonder you're spending so much time with her helping her through such a terrible time, she will certainly need your help for a very long while yet, bless her. How old was he bubbs? The sea is a marvellous place to help and as well as being very exhilarating it also has a really calming affect. My heart goes out to you all. Love, {{{hugs}}} and best wishes to you all on such a sad loss. BTW, excellent work with your latest potting, the free coffee from Wait rose too!
Search very wise and comforting words to bubbs, Antomac and oh so very true of life!
Well done on giving up buying coffee out, why give your cash to others when you can save it instead! Far cheaper to make your own!

Doesn't time ever whiz passed, mrs-moneypenny, it never seems almost a year ago that I started SPC 9 and now we're soooo close to emptying the pots we've loved filling! Never mind as the 4th will see us all starting it all over again!!
Absolutely correct, Ben, we wives need to be treated every now and then or we fail to function completely! :j Not to worry that there was less for the pot as it was exceptionally well spent as I'm sure your Wife agrees!
DON'T FORGET BAGS FROM THE BANK everyone and to put the correct denominations of each coin in each bag!!!

Great news that you became debt-free, I remember you saying earlier in the year that you'd soon be free or that you were. Anyway there's a good year for you to stick hard to saving, plenty of incentive too!

Why not sell the things you no longer need, fOxhOles, far better off in your pot than sitting around doing nothing!

These were the highlights of the year, and not just this week. I have totalled up some of the money I've saved, but not all of it. I don't think it will be as much as last year but it will be a nice surprise nevertheless.
The lottery wins were two of £25. Oddly enough I was sent an email about one of them, but not the other so I was surprised when I checked and there were two wins close together. I pay automatically via DD so don't always check.
