Oh soooooo close to pot-opening day :j:j:j.I am starting to think about last-minute places to find pot money: random coins left lying around the house, money for Pinecone surveys done this year,my roadkill pot etc.
Today I did a huuuuuuge grocery shop-haven't done a proper shop since forever:I have just been buying stuff for a few days at a time,at whatever supermarket I am near.Today I did a bit of meal-plan,then went to supermarket.Hopefully, with lots in the fridge and freezer,I won't need to go shoppping with 4 [STRIKE]naughty[/STRIKE] over-excitable children during the holidays. In the change,I was given a lovely new shiny £5 note.It has gone into the pot, along with a £2 coin that has been sitting in my purse for a couple of weeks (I don't spend £2 coins, only pot them).
So £7 potted tonight.
Sooooooooooo looking forward to pot-opening day-have I mentioned?:rotfl::rotfl:SPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

Good morning, not checked in for what seems like months, but needed to check on opening date, my OH will be counting up on the 4th as I'm on nights that week, although Iv been potting on a regular basis I'm not sure Iv achieved my target this year, I will be putting the money to our Florida fund, we were hoping to go next year but my youngest daughter has had a baby this year so finances will be tight for a while for them so our date has been put back to 2018 which gives me another year of potting for our Disney tickets. Reading previous posts sounds like everyone getting ready for the big day next week.... Excited.SPC No. 295 - SPC No10 target £350

I have done the sealed pot for a few years now but this is the first year I have stayed on the forum, stuck to it properly and not dipped into my pot once. I'm looking forward to counting it up next week to see how much I have towards my wedding dress :-)

Hiya all Sealed Potters! :grinheartI hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and you're all enjoying the week ahead.....okay maybe not, but do your best.
Goodwill wishes for all those who perhaps aren't well or who are a little down for some other reason, but whatever it is we are all hoping that you're soon fighting fit and raring to go once again! {{{Hugs}}} to you all!
Thank you so very much indeed, little_sweetie! Why that's a beautiful birthday cake and T was delighted with it, so was a I though I may have had just a little larger piece!! :shhh: He had a lovely Birthday with us all having a brilliant day, just perfect. Well done with that 5p you found, crikey it looks as though it might just be your lucky few days lately, let's hope it continues.
Excellent potting Florence!! Keep on piling change away and that pot of yours will be just about as heavy as it can get! What an exciting time it is!! :jHere I am again! I remembered to come backI haven't opened my tins  how could you say such a thing!
I am thinking that the closest guess will get £10 from the tins, I dont think i'll include my own guess though as I think that would be a bit unfair on everyone else
Oh don't you worry, Jakes-mum, I remember you far too well of old, so I can be forgiven for pre-accusing you. Still, at least this time you behaved yourself and haven't nagged me for you to open your pot.... or begged if you could do so.See what I mean! How right you are not to include your own guess of your pot's contents, after all they'd only accuse you of having rigged it......NEVER in this world!! :A
DON'T FORGET TO GET BAGS READY FROM THE BANK everyone!!!!
Well done with keeping your potting finger on the pulse, TheCatsandDogsMother! Keep it throbbing while chucking those coins in!!12 whole pence from my change at the school Spooky Disco. You lot are going to be truly amazed at my total....:rotfl:
Don't you worry, Dizzy Imp, we are quite ready to be fully amazed at the contents of your pot, so get ready to spill it all on the 4th November!!!! Don't sell yourself short though and just keep in mind that owt is so much better than nowt!!!! Be proud you saved at all.
That's the way it's done, Becky, you're making a grand job of it!! Keep up when it shouts "FILL ME PLEASE!!!!" You got it....I'm a penny short of a pot!!!! :undecided
YAY MrsShazbat......however much more are you hoping to to knock up?!!!!!! Well done you!
Hiya Saver-upper! You know the drill by now, wherever you've been stashing cash, it's time to begin retrieving it!! I've guessed what's happening here, there's a conspiracy to "stop Sue getting any new £5ers - right?!! Everyone's on about the ones their being given in change, but still not me!!Let's hear it........ahhhhhhhhh. You keep the buzz of excitement Saver-upper, who can blame you!
Including today, folks, there are just 9 days left to fill those pots!!!!!
Yes bubbs, you've neglected us good and proper - did we mind - you bet we did!So you'd best make up for it next year ok?!! Don't worry bubbs, it's always lovely to see family members back home again, even if they're unsure of the declaration day.....their own Birthdays 'n all by the looks of things!! See you again soon.
Hello at last, cattysmum, lovely to see you back at last. I take it that you've got the declaration date which is, just in case you hadn't noticed, the 3rd November. You mean you became a Grandmother and didn't even let us know!! I take it Mum and her little treasure are doing well, love and congratulations to you all!!
I hope do you've achieved your target or got fairly close to it. Get ready for Nov 4th to restart your savings and lets hope you're able to go to Florida and Disneyland!!!
Hello again Tizzy!! It's so good to read that you've been sooooo good and kept your savings where they should be rather than raiding them! So, when's the Wedding? Fingers crossed for the funds to get your dress!!!!! Exiting times ahead!! :jSue xx
Have a smashing week, everyone, and do the best you can in saving with the time left! :j3rd November is the opening date for 2016.

Sorry to hear of your loss bubbs. You sound like a good sibling for taking care of your sister. Life is very precious and we should try to make every day count, and find something good in every day.
I've decided to do some extra last minute potting by NOT buying shop coffee each day this week - Managed two days so far.27/5/17 Mort 64705 BTs 1904031/12/17 Mort 59815 BT 1673007/04/20 Mort 49208 BT 1572128/07/20 Mort 47387 BT 1263414/11/20 Mort 45905 BT 10134 20/05/21 Mort 42335 BT 686811/08/22 Mort 32050 BT 2915Sealed Pot Challenge 16 Number 50 -
