Another £12 this week. One more weekend of potting for me - appreciate others do it differently.
Counting up time will fit perfectly with break in Cornwall planned for Friday 4th as will be able to find Hotel cost from sealed pot.

This may be slightly (very) late in the game, but I actually do have a pot I've been tossing loose change into for the last few weeks. It's not going to be very much by November 3rd given that it's less than two weeks to go but it would be an interesting exercise.
Hiya Becky - are you wanting to join the thread ?? You'll be more than welcome if so :D Just post again to confirm and our esteemed leader Sue will add you to the list and give you your very own number. Hope to see you again soon :)

Just had a quite exciting day. We picked up our new-to-us car this afternoon and had a celebratory tea out for a change. We are now the owners of a 2013 silver Dacia Sandero Laureate :j

Unfortunately our television has just decided to curl up its' toes and stopped working entirely this evening - halfway through Mastermind ! (It has been playing up for a while). It doesn't really worry me but DH would be devastated without one :rotfl:

So have had a punt around and ordered a new one from Ah gosh shop in their sale and are to collect t/m. It's the same size as our now defunct one so should fit on the wall brackets okay, and is a 'smart' one with freeview and will play DVDs, all for under £200 including a wifi dongle :D

However, we already have new phones to pick up and pay for t/m as well  So my poor sealed pot savings will take a battering when the cc needs paying as I always pay in full ;) Oh well, at least we have the savings for when we need them eh. Should still be enough left to cover our holiday in March :D

Sorry for the long post and I did pot my weekly £10 earlier :j Hope you all have a super weekend Lx

A very good morning, Potters, I hope each and everyone of you are well, keeping warm also. It won't be long now til we're all opening our pots!!!! :j

For those who are poorly, take great care and get qell soon! The same wishes tp those with any other problems, I hope you can soon sort them out. For now, here are some special {{{hugs}}} to help you get well quickly. We're all thinking so much of you. :grinheart Take care!

Well done once again, Chutney! Those £2s you so regularly save will have been counting up a lot as time's gone by so best wishes with a good year long sum!!

Hello there Westie, and I'm glad you are so pleased with your latest gold star, but you've learned it so thank you also. :D I'm sorry to hear that you're still obviously in quite a bit of pain and I hope that'll gradually lessen as time goes by. It's good to hear you're going back to work next week as at least that will help you financially especially with Christmas looming. Good luck to you and I hope that you're soon fighting fit again.

I understand you, siju, you can have too much of a good thing at times, bless em. :A Fingers crossed for you all that he'll soon get work and keep out of your hair a little. A nice amount potted btw!

Don't forget, folks, including today, there are just 12 days left to fill those pots!!!!!

WOW!! What a brilliant amount from Quidco, MrsShazbat....well deserved of that latest drumroll!!!! :j You've still got more saving time to go so......keep the great work up!!!!

Ah you can be sure that most of us will be saving in varying amount of ways, Antomac, but you've done amazingly....so far, much to be delighted with. So when declaration day arrives you be ready to head to Cornwall and thoroughly enjoy yourself - not that you'll need telling to do so!! :p

Hiya Lynne! To be honest the model of your car doesn't ring any bells with me, but I'm so happy for you both! You enjoy it and always travel safely in it!!

Such a shame about the TV but at least you have your new one coming today and what a bargain it was too!! Ah gosh you say! ;) Will remember that as ours has too many times when the screen goes totally black for a few seconds and then is ok again, but it makes you wonder if it's starting to go. I guess you'll watch the rest of Mastermind on iPlayer so I'll keep schtum on who won! :silenced:

What a terribly expensive time you're having at the moment!!!! :eek:Normally it's the other way round of having the spend up after opening the pots but one way or tother I guess it's all pretty much the same! Enjoy your phones too!! :D

£18.50 in the pot after shopping last night - I swear when I pop the notes in our wooden chicken that he giggles at the delight of it :rotfl: though maybe it's me - NO - I'm NOT mad I'm happy!!! :D Hubby's Birthday tomorrow so a time to celebrate with the family - can't wait!! :j

Make the very best of a brilliant weekend folks. Not long now SPCers, so save well when possible!

    Sue xx

I am pretty sure I have potted over £15 today. It's a mixture of change I had been accumulating during the last two weeks and leftovers from my shopping today. My pot is very heavy indeed. So excited.

Heeeellllllooooooo there at last, jakes-mum!!!!!! There we were thinking you'd naughtily opened your pot and fled with it, though we know you'd NEVER DO THAT now don't we??!! :naughty: Not long now to go, and NO YOU CAN NOT OPEN IT NOW!!!!!! See - I get to know what's coming next from you, well maybe not in your latest which is a change!!! :undecided

So good to hear Jake recovered so soon, rubbery indeed! I bet knowing you you'll be the winner of your "guess how much is in the pot" game, but what's the prize........the contents??! ;) Right then I'm timing you and if you're not back ere in a few days there'll be trouble!!!!

Here I am again! I remembered to come back :D I haven't opened my tins  how could you say such a thing!

I am thinking that the closest guess will get £10 from the tins, I dont think i'll include my own guess though as I think that would be a bit unfair on everyone else :D

I got 2 x £2 coins in my change today so they have been potted along with £15 x £2 coins yesterday from money I got somewhere and tucked away to change up at the bank . . I changed it up as planned but its been so long that I haven't the scoobiest where I got the £30 to begin with

also still chucking all my loose change into my scrap pot, its about a third full now, I need more change!!

I've been dropping in the odd bit of change here and there. Put in the amazing amount of 42p earlier.
