Another £12 this week. One more weekend of potting for me - appreciate others do it differently.
Counting up time will fit perfectly with break in Cornwall planned for Friday 4th as will be able to find Hotel cost from sealed pot.

Just had a quite exciting day. We picked up our new-to-us car this afternoon and had a celebratory tea out for a change. We are now the owners of a 2013 silver Dacia Sandero Laureate :j

Unfortunately our television has just decided to curl up its' toes and stopped working entirely this evening - halfway through Mastermind ! (It has been playing up for a while). It doesn't really worry me but DH would be devastated without one :rotfl:

So have had a punt around and ordered a new one from Ah gosh shop in their sale and are to collect t/m. It's the same size as our now defunct one so should fit on the wall brackets okay, and is a 'smart' one with freeview and will play DVDs, all for under £200 including a wifi dongle

However, we already have new phones to pick up and pay for t/m as well :eek: So my poor sealed pot savings will take a battering when the cc needs paying as I always pay in full Oh well, at least we have the savings for when we need them eh. Should still be enough left to cover our holiday in March

I'm sorry to hear that you're still obviously in quite a bit of pain and I hope that'll gradually lessen as time goes by. It's good to hear you're going back to work next week as at least that will help you financially especially with Christmas looming. Good luck to you and I hope that you're soon fighting fit again.

Ah you can be sure that most of us will be saving in varying amount of ways, Antomac, but you've done amazingly....so far, much to be delighted with. So when declaration day arrives you be ready to head to Cornwall and thoroughly enjoy yourself - not that you'll need telling to do so!!

Such a shame about the TV but at least you have your new one coming today and what a bargain it was too!! Ah gosh you say! £18.50 in the pot after shopping last night - I swear when I pop the notes in our wooden chicken that he giggles at the delight of it :rotfl: though maybe it's me - NO - I'm NOT mad I'm happy!!! Hubby's Birthday tomorrow so a time to celebrate with the family - can't wait!! :j

I am pretty sure I have potted over £15 today. It's a mixture of change I had been accumulating during the last two weeks and leftovers from my shopping today. My pot is very heavy indeed. So excited.

Here I am again! I remembered to come back I haven't opened my tins :eek: how could you say such a thing!

I am thinking that the closest guess will get £10 from the tins, I dont think i'll include my own guess though as I think that would be a bit unfair on everyone else

I got 2 x £2 coins in my change today so they have been potted along with £15 x £2 coins yesterday from money I got somewhere and tucked away to change up at the bank . . I changed it up as planned but its been so long that I haven't the scoobiest where I got the £30 to begin with :think:

also still chucking all my loose change into my scrap pot, its about a third full now, I need more change!! :eek: :eek:
