The young one certainly seems to have settle well without her and he is actually sleeping anywhere in the house now and we've taken his cage out. Only problem with that was, he peed the bed the other morning. Not too bad I hear you say......it was my bed he was on at the time! I woke with the noise and he was sound asleep on his back with his legs in the air! That meant a new quilt and mattress for us!
Why wouldn't you do exactly that, Mrs C…tobe, it saves a lot of money that's for sure, well done! Oh dear, we do have some problems with our little pups, bless em. I do hope he soon becomes more house trained or......not so given to having wet dreams!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl:
A very good afternoon all Potters! :hello: I hope you've all enjoyed the week. Now it's time to prepare for a really lovely weekend!!!
Best wishes to all those unwell, here are some special {{{hugs}}} to help you get well soon, for those who may be feeling low too. Rest assured your wonderful SPC family are thinking of you. :grinheart
It's so good to hear how pleased you are with your savings, Florence, very well done!:j

Hello Plumduff!!! It's wonderful to hear that despite the weather you had a really good time and that the kiddies thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Also that you've come back with savings to use. Yes, you really did well with spotting our SPC challenge, it's such a pleasure to hear it brilliant news!! :T
So it pays to look around the house every now and then to check if there's owt we no longer need, chickadee!! :j Good savings made. You've still time to budget well in order to save more, good luck with doing just that.
Hello again mcjordi, lovely to see you drop by. I hope you're pleased with your PC, plenty of time left to fill the pot.
Ooooh how wise,l (disciplined too) you sure you are, mrs-moneypenny, your savings will be far better off in your pot ready for Christmas than they will be being used for the bathroom fund; so I commend you for keeping it that way as you'd like as not have regretted doing anything else. Very well done indeed!! Enjoy your Birthday whenever it is, your Wedding Anniversary too, have a great time away, and whatever happens with your treat money, either enjoy the gift or the added money in the pot!!
parksandrec wrote: »Hi! Sorry I haven't posted for a while my pot got smashed (by an unruly cat) so I've already banked £35.77 for #142 but I have a new pot so I'll reset my Sig for my new pot for the rest of the challenge
Not to worry, parksandrec, we can forgive you for a bit of an absence just the same as can your cat for its antics. I wondered what its name might be but at the time I bet it had at least one more!! :rotfl:Thanks for sorting your siggy out.
I know you're always so willing to help me, Lynne, but and I always like to show my appreciation for it, it's a Godsend I assure you.
Well, that's the shopping done, and......£15 in the pot....who's crowing now!!!!!
Right folks, you be sure to have a really GREAT WEEKEND!! :jMind the pots don't suffer!

Evening potters, you'll have to excuse any typos I might make, i typing with my thumb and ring finger after trying to put the toaster away and slicing my middle finger open on the inside of one of the grills! Am currently sat here with it wrapped in kitchen roll as it keeps popping open  even managed to accidently bleed all over DD;s shoulder when I gave her a cuddle and my finger stuck to her
Anyway enough of my clumsiness! condolences to Mrs C, its so sad when our feathered and fur babies pass
I have been potting away but have no idea how much has gone in as i've just been chucking it in and running! It only has 4 1/2 cm of room left though(yes I did stick a ruler in there :rotfl:)

Wish I could shake this blooming hayfever. Feel bloody terrible but at least I sound extra manly as voice gone all husky.
I've been the same now for 2 weeks (as yesterday). It started on holiday, feeling like the onset of a cold but I haven't had any fever. Last week I was very throaty, wheezy and sinus-y (SO snotty!!) and it took about a week for my faithful Benadryl to really kick in and I'm just about back to normal now. I was the same last year (my hay fever is usually done once all the trees are out) and according to my SIL there had been a spike in pollen, so I can only assume a similar thing happened this year.SPCNo.18 #20 (17 £562.86 16 £678; 15 £1120.92; 14 £416.53; 13 £191.52; 12 £260.48; 11 £480.95; 10 £682.31; 9 £442.64)

In unrelated news, I did a baaaaaaaaaaad thing last night and booked 2 tickets to see "Letters Live" at the Freemason's Hall in London in October. It's their fault, for sending me a pre-sale email (supposedly only past attendees/customers received it) with a code to buy tickets early (general sale started 9am today). It took me about an hour (and several "your session has timed out, retry" reminders) to decide to go for it. Mainly because there's no guarantee that a certain Mr Cumberbatch will be present and performing (although it's closing night and his production company is behind it). But my friend who I met through liking him, has just undergone a second brain surgery to correct a leak from her first brain surgery a month or so ago, so I decided it might be nice to treat her. I booked some cheap train tickets today (£45 return, had to pay more to get the direct return), just got accommodation to sort out for a nice overnight stay in London.SPCNo.18 #20 (17 £562.86 16 £678; 15 £1120.92; 14 £416.53; 13 £191.52; 12 £260.48; 11 £480.95; 10 £682.31; 9 £442.64)

£10.20 potted for me this week - including 20p roadkill :j . First roadkill I've picked up in absolutely ages. Almost had another £1 roadkill the next day but worked out it belonged to a confused guy just ahead of me with holes in his pockets so gave it to him. Nearly picked up another 3 whole pence today but left it for a while as was having a cup of coffee with my cousin. A little girl picked it up and shared it with her even smaller brother which was kind of cute/uplifting. Not exactly one to file under 'Cool story Bro' but it did make me smile.27/5/17 Mort 64705 BTs 1904031/12/17 Mort 59815 BT 1673007/04/20 Mort 49208 BT 1572128/07/20 Mort 47387 BT 1263414/11/20 Mort 45905 BT 10134 20/05/21 Mort 42335 BT 686811/08/22 Mort 32050 BT 2915Sealed Pot Challenge 16 Number 50
