Well,it is £322,and I reckon if you get the bank to change them into £2 coins for you, that would just about fill another pot, wouldn't it?:D

I have been collecting £2 coins for this challenge.I have only had to spend one £2 coin that has crossed my hands this challenge, and that was when I went to pay £22 for items, but couldn't find my debit card in my [STRIKE]tardis[/STRIKE] handbag.
The only currency I had on me was a £20 note and a few £2 coins being set aside to be potted. So I used one of those. When I reached out to put purchased items in a bag,my debit card fell out from under my armpit icon_redface.gif.(I had put it there so I wouldn't have to rummage for it in my over-filled handbag in a queue of shoppers!)

    Anyway,have just potted £14 worth of £2 coins myself.:j

I hope everyone is keeping well.

Hi everyone. Just thought I'd pop in. I'm not really saving much at the moment as I've recently got married :j and money has been spent, but hoping to get back on the potting path soon. I do have a pot with a little in it....even a tenner in November would buy me a trip to the cinema I reckon :rotfl:

I hope everyone is doing ok.

Hi all Sealed Potters! :hello: Here's hoping the weekend was a really lovely one, and that the week ahead will be good too IF it ever stops raining!!! I'd like to say it's cleared the muggy feel - but it hasn't!!

Best wishes to all those of you who aren't well, here are some {{{hugs}}} to help you get better soon, those who may be feeling low too. Take heart, your SPC family are thinking of you. :grinheart

It's lovely to see you back with us, TheCatsandDogsMother, determined to get more into your pot too. Though I can quite understand why you want to get your CC paid off. Depending how much you have free how about putting 50% into each? A great idea to come in more regularly to give yourself more incentive! :D

You're not alone in losing posts you've just written out, Modesty, isn't it infuriating! I quietly seethe when it happens to me, much like the Incredible Hulk!! The blouses I get through is amazing! :rotfl: Well done on your lottery win!!! :T

Lovely to have you back too, Seaotter, looks like you've really been saving well, excellent work. Don't forget we love to see you when you've the time. :)

Not yet Sue-UU, I haven't had the opportunity! We're having a new bathroom fitted and the house is in absolute chaos. DS's bedroom is full the the brim with all the things he brought back from uni and dumped!!!!! It'll be my job to sort it all out before he comes home in October He'd better bring me something nice back :rotfl:

Haven't potted anything because I've been stuck in the house with the bathroom fitter. Having said that, he found a £1.00 coin in with the tiles and gave that to me - I'm claiming it as bathkill for my pot

Ahh, I see just why you're yet to miss your DS, siju, he left it THAT bad eh! :( Why is it they think we've nowt better to do! Your carpet fitter is a very honest chap.....unless he potted the other £9!! Sorry, couldn't resist. :rotfl:

Another beaming smile on your face as you potted that £10er eh :D, Lynne, followed by jumping for joy when you had the news about your MOT having passed too I'll bet, and why not!! :j

Keep up the saving, everyone! There might not be many of us posting at present but the others are on their holidays etc. The main thing is YOU'RE ALL SAVING WELL so stick at it!!!!!!!!

By golly mrs-moneypenny, you might have missed out on potting for a time but you did well to make up for it in such a fantastic way, brilliant!!!! :j

What can I say in answer to your first paragraph eh, jakes-mum, other than you're definitely right!!!! You PATIENT???! You could never have excepted me not to reply to that surely! I'm speechless! :silenced:
Well done with having finished the blanket and don't forget.....you promised to show us. :naughty: Now go and get the wool for the blue one!

Wow what amazing potting news, great sales to get so much, but if it's not needed then why not get shot. Though that's not your new wardrobe you've sold - is it??!
That CC faling from your armpit sounds like a thing that could only happen to you or jakes-mum, Saver-upper! :rotfl: Talk about embarrassing! Keep up the £2 coins. I just love them, so beautiful!

Ah congratulations to you, Observer!!!! Much happiness to you both!! Happy saving too. It's so good to see you again.

£10 saved in the pot, a bit extra from my lovely DH, bless him! :kisses3: Our DD's not too good right now, as well as the MS she has shingles!!!!!! :( She kept on saying about the awful feeling of having fireworks going off under her skin on the left side that she'd had but as it's so like some of her MS feelings she thought she was relapsing again, but then her Dr has diagnosed the shingles!! She has AV tablets to take 5 times a day now so I do hope she can soon be rid of it.
Be sure to enjoy Monday, SPCers!!! Take care of those pots!

Potted the princely sum of £4 last week. Been preoccupied with trying to sort out other not very nice stuff so forgot to update at end of last week.
This thread has been good though to get me, and I'm sure many others, into the habit of saving amounts that would otherwise disappear. Thanks Sue-UU for sorting out this challenge.

Sorry to hear your DD has shingles Sue-UU, as if she doesn't have enough to contend with! Hope she makes a speedy recovery :)

Well the bathroom was finished yesterday and the fitter (maybe with an extra £9.00 in his pocket ) left last night. We're very pleased and I'll be glad to get my house back to normal. It's still covered in a light dust , so no guesses as to my actions after work tonight :(

    Potting £3.37 today :D

Still here and still potting when I remember, and when my purse gets too full of coins. I treated myself a while ago to a new mum-purse and it has room for everything in it.

Lovely coming on here from time to time seeing what you are all up to. Blankets, babies, weddings, all life is here. Such a friendly and happy bunch of people. :)
