    Morninggggggggg Potterssssssss

Thank you for the get well wishes, am feeling a bit better but that was not a nice virus at all!

Saver-upper, so glad your back in you shiny new home :D

Well today is Jake the Teen Monsters birthday! I feel so old  and to celebrate, it's absolutely piddling it down here!

No change at the minute, but off out later to take little sister to buy her big brother a present (seems when I'm ill the whole world stops till I'm better so no one actually thought to take her while I was having my one woman pity party all weekend) soooooo shall be back later with hopefully some change and definitely a rather large slice of cake :D

Pulling tightly on the purses strings currently, be back potting soon.

I have had a few credit card bills to pay, and to keep my car in petrol as time goes on and my walking gets worse.

    Im still here reading though....

Stuck the weekly £20 in my 1p a day pot. I've earmarked this as savings for dd3s wedding pressie. I've still got over a year before she gets wed so it will be way after the opening day. Just be nice to see what I have by then. I've got a figure in mind I'd like to give them and anything extra will go towards sorting outfits out.

Can I join please? My plan is to add the money I save by taking a cheaper travel option to work (£1.70/day) and by not buying take away coffee each day (£2 per coffee). I won't achieve this every day but joining the SPC will give me an incentive to try to do it more often.

Hey can I join this?! I am going to bookmark this page onto my iPhone home page and update as I save into my pot, which btw is a giant Amazon box with a space in the top (all I have haha)!

A very warm welcome to you

*Please pop your number on your sigs, it really helps.

    - AntoMac, your No is 46, sadly it's a neglected one :( so if you'd kindly take care of it and pop it on your siggy that would be great. :DBTW, saving as you're going to is a brilliant way to get money by you and will also give you greater willpower to want to save more!

    - cameron100, your No is 145, another neglected one :(, though if you could kindly take care of it and pop it on your siggy that would be just fine. :D

A gold star deserved by you, mossy and Westie, for lovely welcomes aboard. :staradmin :staradmin Thanks also, Westie, for your kind help re photos to Cameron...another well-deserved star for sure. :staradmin

Heeeeelllllooooo again, POTTERS!!!! :hello: I hope you're all enjoying a good week, that you had a lovely BH weekend too. potting well too, of course you are. Thank you so much for all your good holiday wishes, we did just that and had a ball! Mr UU and I had a fantastic holiday in the Highlands of Scotland and what some amazing weather we had too!!!! If any of you haven't yet been there, do try it as it's WONDERFUL and so, so BEAUTIFUL!!!! :grinheartWe didn't get back until Sunday and I've been catching up at home since then. Ok then folks, keep right on saving as much cash as possible.

If any of you are unwell or perhaps not feeling the normal you then cuddle up with some fuzzy {{{hugs}}} just for YOU and get well soon!

ME behave, 32b3???? Don't I always (you're thinking of jakes-mum)! Well, maybe not but we won't go into that right now though I was soooooo good in Scotland :A, though I only got 1p roadkill up there, but then.....it is Scotland! :rotfl:No offence, Lynne! Have a lovely week off, 32b3.
Been slow potting for a couple weeks as I've been spending on a trip to London to see my sister - which was great!

Back to potting - £3 potted today.

I'm so pleased you had such a marvellous time with your Sister, Dragon Lily, and you're now back to saving well.

Plumduff, that's sure to be an amazing time you have with your Grandchildren, a fantastic treat for them...you too! Don't forget to include what you spend (pop it on your siggy) in your Total declared in November as it's your savings!
Was just thinking if I can get £100 just from this Challenge alone it would be GREAT....and I would really feel like I've achieved something... So that's my Aim for this Year...

But I'm doing a few other little personal Challenges.....One is the Penny a Day Challenge, not sure if there is a Thread on here for that....but I'm doing it anyway....and doing rather well and on track so far....and the other one is the £366 in 366 Days Challenge...a little behind on that one so far....but I'll get there... Not sure if I can include these in the Totals at the end of the Year on here Sue??

Great news about that positivity you're holding onto, Helen, keep clutching it as it'll stand you in great stead! BTW, however you save with MSE it can ALL be included in your SPC Total, and whatever it is...it'll be a GREAT achievement!!!! So, keep up your amazing work and stay proud and happy! :j

Well done with your 2 weekly £10ers, Lynne.

Very well done in mot counting your saved cash, 12 month challenge, I must admit that I was so pleasd to see you hadn't caved in! :D Keep the saving up and don't forget to drop in to see us when you can.

Ah..there you are, mcjordi, and good to see you're saving so well.

Ah but......Sue always reads through the posts!!!!! :p When will you ever learn eh, jakes-mum?!!! Forget that as I already know....NEVER!!! :rotfl:

So sorry to hear about your Mum-in-law, I do hope she soon recovers. Very sad about your Birthday not being quite as you'd planned, but how thoughtful young Jake and Lily were, bless them both. :A:A PS. I've just read your latest post and am really wishing you well as you sound sooo rough. Take great care. Ah, I see you're feeling better now, I'm so pleased for you but do take care. A very Happy Birthday to Jake please.

Oh how I feel for you with those dreaded SATS, Vicky, though your DH needs a few to help him remember NOT to leave cash hanging around!!! :rotfl: Ooooh I dunno, maybe it's best he keeps up the bad work!! :rotfl:

Whhoooopppeeeeee for you being back home at last, Saver-upper!!!!!! :j I really am so delighted for you all that it's now finally over and sleeping room for all is in your house too! A long time I know, but I bet it's all been worth it now you're back in! Bless your DS...what a gem. :kisses3:

Nice work with your pot and the demijohn, mrs-moneypenny! Congratulations to you and to your darling Niece and her family!!!!!! It's lovely to know that all is well. A good idea to keep the £10 or was it £20 (I can't see it) for your DD3s Wedding, have a wonderful time preparing for it and simply looking forward to that splendid day! :happylove

A good weekend and week's saving, siju!
Potted £31.90 today that I earned from a cleaning job. Feeling good about that. Haven't been potting much recently as there seemed to be a mound of expenses this last month. Hopefully June will be better!

Excellent saving, NeedToBeDebtFree!!!! :T When you get the chance to save sums like that why wouldn't you, and as you said, doesn't it make you feel so good as a result!!!! :j Fingers crossed that the bills get smaller. :D

    Brilliant work, themstarrynights!
Due to living on a very tight budget I don't often have any spare change, but have just added up a total of £8.00. Very please as that will be paid off a credit card.
I love reading the posts every day. Your all doing really well!

Very well done indeed, rockabillygirl, as the more you can pay off your CC the better you'll be able to save! It's lovely to hear you keep reading the daily posts as it'll keep you motivated so keep at it. :D

You've a brilliant amount saved - so far, MrsShazbat, that's some really GREAT saving done!!!! What can I say apart from....keep hard at it!!

It's wonderful to see you're one of those "down boy" types, Dizzy Imp, puppy dog eyes never work with my either!! Well, most of the time. ;)

Well done, Frogletina, and keep it piling in like that!!! :T Ah, I see you made a mistake with posting, but don't forget to include the £2 challenge Total with your SPC one in November. ;)
