Helllllllooooooooooooo :j:j
Well, builders have basically finished the shell of our extension.Plastered, floor screeded, etc. When we had ordered our kitchen from Wickes in November,we told builder that when the time comes,we need to give Wiches about 28 days notice for having them deliver and install kitchen.
I had been trying to catch up with builder for about 2 weeks,to find out where we were at,what order is everythig (floor, kitchen, tiling, etc) done, but I never saw him.(Lots of his other workers, but not him). When I did catch him at the house last Thur,he said "Oh,yes. We will screed the floor next Tue (16th).Give it 5-6 days to dry, then you can install the kitchen":eek:.Cue manic rush to Wickes to see if they can speed up delivery. Not really, but it is booked for delivery on Fri 4th March, and installation will start Mon 7th,and take about 2 weeks .Then will be able to do things like lay the floor, paint walls, tile bathroom, etc.
So it is all happening.Meanwhile we are very comfortable at inlaws (though it is alot more travel each day).
All good.
Potting-wise,today I will pot 3x£2 coins (Sainsbury self-serve tils are very generous with these
),and 3x £1 and another 80p.So £9.80 in all,woohoo.
I hope everyone is ok.Hugs to those who need them.xxSPC #36 :staradminx 8.SPC7=£751.10 SPC8=£651.04 SPC9=£843.00 SPC10=£872.76

Loving your double potting Debtfreedolly :j :j
Had a bit of change today as I was forced! (Forced I tell you!!) to take the brood to Maccy D's and then sit and watch them all eat said gross (not even worthy of being called) fast food  DS even got chips and a milkshake and credit to our local Maccy D's, the manager went off and checked the ingredients on the milkshake mix to double check it was gluten free.
Anyway, so, potting news . . . well I had a whole 4p change for the tin, I also sold a game of DD's and tried to explain to her that we should go halvsies on the money as though it was hers, I sold it . . . she said no

I've had to open one of my pots again (the terramundi is still intact and safe) my puppy got out and decided to run straight into a car! Luckily it was travelling slow and he managed to come out of it with just some cuts, scrapes and bruises. The vets thinking he is lucky while I think he is starting to give me grey hair, I'm just glad he is okay though.Number 495

Just back from our film school, a run to the co-op got me 50p change for the terramundi and my offer of gold stars for students paying in shrapnel got me £40 in change! Used most for my penny a day/pound a week challenge but potted 3x lovely shiny £2 coins so another £6.50 - that's £11 today all told
will now be trying to be NSD so that may be all for a while unless anything else sells locally... 0 -
I've just potted £2.48 in my pot, been away for a week to see my family so didn't really gather much in the way of change when I was there!SPC Newbie, Number 131

Mea Culpa (but I'm not sorry!!)
Had to break into my sealed pot, as last week, the mortgage company was being difficult about our bank statements, and have just said they have 'forgotten' to instruct the valuation on the house we are trying to buy, so the next available date is the 2nd March - so they are going to demand this month's bank statements, so I have used the sealed pot money to stop all the little ins and outs and I am going to look super frugal and not give them anything to complain about. We do have savings too! before anyone gets worried, and paying a mortgage will be £500 less a month than the rent we are paying, but still the mortgage company is being really picky. So I have opened my pot, and as soon as I have the mortgage decision finalised, the lid goes back on and I will fling money at it with gay abandon.
So glad I have it though, why doesn't EVERYBODY have one??? Total godsend.
Now if only I could get DH onboard. Ah, if wishes were fishes.....4/10/25Three Years Mortgage Free Yay!

Thanks so much for checking debtfreeby30 on the list and finding her for me (for her too, but...), Ruth, I'm so grateful to you. A gold star is yours! :staradmin Same as the others, I also thought you meant it was your 16th Birthday though I knew it wasn't, not with the time you've been with us. Belated Birthday greetings to you and congratulations for that and for climbing Scafell Pike!!!! :T Plus the £10er!!! Fantastic!!!!! :j
Thank you very much for my star Sue, it has been a long time since i have earned one but as this wonderful family grows, as do it's helpful members!!
I hope you had a truly fantastic Hen night!! I'm sure you will have some stories to tell
We are of to Surrey tomorrow to collect 2 poodles we will be fostering until a new home comes along. A very long drive but well worth it for the cuddles.Pennydreams3 wrote: »Hello all, its been a few weeks since I last reported my pottings and its been rather manic! Turns out hubby and I were a lot luckier than we first thought and are expecting our second bundle of joy ahead of schedule this October!
Although I've neglected you lot (sorry!), I've not neglected my pot and have deposited various notes and coins made in tips at work and left over from notes after trips to town. Hope you all are well! Penny x
Congratulations! I am so so pleased for you both!!!
I haven't had very many coins for the pot recently. I am going to test out a different way of managing my money next month so we'll see how that does.
Love and hugs to you all
