this made me giggle, I did the same with my dad the other day, when I was round their house, I saw a flood of coins leave his pocket, then asked him to get me a drink and quickly swiped up the haul before he returned ;-)

    cunning plan I believe :-)

Ahh Westie a like minded person, sure we are just recycling our finds! V disappointed with yesterday's paltry 20p on the sofa, not checked tonight as he's still lying down (don't get me started lol) but he needs to do better! :rotfl:

Hello! May I please join the challenge? I have a terramundi that I put all my £2 and 50p coins in :)
I also put £52 a week in (ten years of that and I'd be mortgage free) can I count that or is it too much? I guess I could deduct all the notes come count up time :D

A very warm though belated welcome to you, Debtfreedolly, it's lovely to have you with us. cid:part1.08050304.02040808@wright222.plus.com Enjoy yourself saving, posting and be sure to join in the banter with us. We empty our pots and declare our savings in November, please make a note of this year's date: 3rd Nov.

*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.

Debtfreedolly - your No is an abandoned one and is No 132, and of course and I'm sure it'll be taken great care of by you. :D Of course you can include the £52 you've previously saved. I can quite understand what you mean about how your pot works for you better than a bank does, and if that's the case...great work!!! :grinheart

Many thanks for welcoming Debtfreedolly, Lynne, a worthy gold star is yours! :staradmin Great work with the £10! :j

A gold star for you too, Dizzy Imp, such lovely words, thank you. :staradmin

Heeelllooo again Potters!!!!!!! :hello: Yes, I'm back after a really fantastic weekend which was full of laughter from start to finish. All of us thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at Butlins! We had so much fun, more than I'd have thought possible. We did table tennis, bowling, swimming, saw Diversity in a great show, also we went to a great panto which was an absolute scream! :rotfl: The 5 of us dressed up in all Hen Party attire for one show, raised a few eyebrows there I can tell you!!!! :happylove:happylove:happylove:happylove It was a brilliant 4 days that just could not have been better. No hangovers for me as I only drink shandy, can't talk for the girls though! Thank you for your wishes, it was amazing and our DGD had an absolute ball! :j I see everything here has gone swimmingly too, thanks for keeping everything up together and for SAVING sooooo well!! :T For all those of you who are poorly or a little low for whatever reason, I hope you soon feel so very much better. Here are some {{{hugs}}} to hopefully help you through.

Congratulations with the Lottery win, Modesty! It's good to know it's in the right place. ;)

Excellent saving for you, Karona, by golly you did well!!

    Very good, lexbubbles!

Why not give the 1p challenge a go, 12 month challenge, it can only do good!

Very many congratulations to you and your DH, Penny, I'm delighted for you. Please let us know when your darling treasure arrives. :A

Thank you, Cath, and great saving!

Brilliant saving, MrsC....tobe, where there's a will to save....you have it!! That was a GREAT find with the £30 in the card...and now all that in the paperwork too?! However, does that belong to your firm??! If so, I wouldn't feel at all comfortable in taking it home!!

Another kettlebell lover then, debtfreeby30, me too and what a great work out! :j Good potting too.

Keeping up the great work then, Val...keep it going!

Congratulations with the Bingo win, jakes-mum! :T Thanks for being so thoughtful in using the disclaimer too, very wise! Brilliant saving too!

I bet you'll never moan at your DH for 'longing' again eh, [Deleted User]! :rotfl: Keep pouncing on his change!!

You've become truly addicted to this saving lark, Frogletina, but you can't better it!!!! :D

Don't worry, tatabubbly, I reckon you can be forgiven for using your cash when a bargain comes up, well saved, and thanks for sigging it.

 That's an appalling thing to do, Westie, one which will be repeated I'm sure! :rotfl:How many drinks will be needed next time you visit!!! :rotfl:

That's fantastic news about your house, Saver-upper, not too long to go now then!!!!! I'm so pleased everything's gone well with your In-laws.

A good haul, 32b3, but that's a hellish long day!

We all get those tight times, sunshine, but at least you're still managing to save, well done!

Your pup is a right little daredevil, TheCatsandDogsMother, good to hear he's ok. Pop the amount taken out on your siggie so you remember to include it in November.

It's still good saving, clairelm, and I hope you enjoyed yourself.

So I have opened my pot, and as soon as I have the mortgage decision finalised, the lid goes back on and I will fling money at it with gay abandon. So glad I have it though, why doesn't EVERYBODY have one??? Total godsend.

Now if only I could get DH onboard. Ah, if wishes were fishes.....

I can quite see why you needed to open up, f0xh0les, better to do so than not. I quite agree with your highlighted sentence, but never give up on your DH, he may well change his mind when he sees how much you've saved! Don't forget to add the amount to your siggie so you don't forget to include it with your Total in November!

Indeed we had a VERY memorable time, thanks Ruth, magical!! :grinheartThat's a fair journey you're needing to make, but as you say, so worth the cuddles! All the best with your money managing, I hope it works for you.

    Nice work, Chutney......

    .....you too, muppets.

Great to see you again, mossy, to see you're still potting too!

ooooh I really do sympathise with you, siju, sinusitis is so painful, miserable too, though you're very wise in just walking the dog as that'll help free things up. I hope you soon feel a whole lot better.

Small amounts are still good, hummingbird, as it's still saving!

That's the way to save, Mendry...spend less! Another SPCer hooked!

£10 after shopping this afternoon and......48p roadkill whilst on the Hen Party!!!!! The makings of another bally cold night out there whilst taking our Lab for a walk, still nothing like last night!
Have a lovely Friday, Potters. Wrap up, keep safe, healthy and - potting!!

    Sue xx
