A very good evening Sealed Potters! Oooh it's so bally cold one tonight, but it was such a beautiful day. So, here we are, a step closer to the weekend I'm sure you're all waiting for!!!! :j For all those of you who are poorly or a little low for whatever reason, I hope you soon feel so very much better. Here are some {{{hugs}}} to hopefully help you through.

Hello I'm wondering if I could sneak in and join yous again?

Would definately like to have at least £200 saved by the end of the challenge this year. Hubby is on board with trying harder to save and we have a small amount from last week's shopping money in the jar! I have bagged £30 from last year and we're going to get that changed into £1 coins for our large jar to see how many we can have at end of the year.

A very warm welcome home, debtfreeby30!! :grinheartIt's always wonderful to have members return to save, I hope you and your DH do extremely well between you!
We went on holiday for my birthday (16th) / valentines to climb Scafell Pike. I spent all Sunday night crying in bed in pain but it was well worth it.

Saturday night i found £10!! Woohoo!! There was noone else walking so i couldn't give it back to it's owner.

    Ruth

Thanks so much for checking debtfreeby30 on the list and finding her for me (for her too, but...), Ruth, I'm so grateful to you. A gold star is yours! :staradmin Same as the others, I also thought you meant it was your 16th Birthday though I knew it wasn't, not with the time you've been with us. Belated Birthday greetings to you and congratulations for that and for climbing Scafell Pike!!!! :T Plus the £10er!!! Fantastic!!!!! :j

Quite a puzzle for sure, 32b3, but someone may even have been looking kindly over you, whatever happened, a splendid job!!!!!! :T

Well done, Selene and Val, hard saving/budgeting pays off well!

You too, ETO, all best wishes to your Mum, I hope she's doing relatively well and at least she has the children to help her through, such a bonus. :)

What an excellent idea Sue-UU. If only the powers that be had your common sense! Thanks to all the other potters who have commented on this theme - it seems there are more hospitals charging than I thought!

Thank you, siju, what I can't believe is that those sat on their backsides in offices haven't thought of it...though as I said on Tuesday, they're happy screwing the lot of us, but I bet a bob they don't pay to park!!!!

Oooo Sue, it looks so lovely, we now have a lampshade but are waiting a while till we get curtains / blind and wall decorations so we get a 'feel' for the room and what it needs :DAm seriously leaning toward some sort of metal wall art to go on our chimney breast though :)

Hope you DD is starting to feel a bit better
    xx

*Thank you so much for those words, jakes-mum, she had her latest top to toe MRI with contrast yesterday, hopefully that might help the Neuro team to help her.
BTW, how about a knight complete with chain mal uniform for your fireplace!! :rotfl:

    Great saving, NeedToBeDebtFree! :D

    ...you too, Dragon Lily.

That's such good work, mrs-moneypenny, boy will that pay off!! :j
Ah..there's more eh, lexbubbles, good for you.

Terrific savings, everyone, please keep up the fantastic work and you'll be happy, happy, happy!!!!!

Ok then, Sealed Potters, tomorrow I'm off for a Hen do for the weekend!! Only a few of us, our DD is definitely going so I'm thankful I'll be there with her. I'll be home on Monday and most likely back here on Tuesday.

Have a good Friday, SPCers, a GREAT WEEKEND too. Keep safe and healthy - and potting!!

    Sue xx

  • Hello! May I please join the challenge? I have a terramundi that I put all my £2 and 50p coins in :)
I also put £52 a week in (ten years of that and I'd be mortgage free) can I count that or is it too much? I guess I could deduct all the notes come count up time :D
