Ahh Sue, its a rare occurence that I don't get my own way :rotfl: and long may it continue
DS just got offered a second paper round :j :j from the same people he does the first for, so he will now deliver 25 papers a day, 6 days a week, worked out his wage for him and he'll get £102 every 4 weeks :eek: what the heck??? I used to deliver the same paper when I was a teen, I had to go all the way into town AND go out repeatedly on a thursday and friday to collect payment and I earn't £6 a week (if the so and so's bloomin paid up)! His get dropped off at the house, no money to collect either! anyone needs extra cash go get a paper round :eek: no wonder I see so many older people delivering them!
No pennies today as had to buy my spuds with my cardmaybe i'll hit the kid up for some money :rotfl:

Evening fellow potters
I have managed another pot today. I had some change in the pocket of my bag. I even managed to forget it was there. I just scooped it out and potted it.
I want to have a nice surprise in November so I am trying not to keep count.
Everyone is doing so well and considering January is nearly out already we will be counting up before we know it. :T

15p potted today though there's money in my holding pot too. I did pot some more bits last weekend but forgot to post as our poor bunny was ill. We had to have her put to sleep on Monday night. She was 8 and the vets suspected that her kidneys were failing. Poor mite didn't eat all weekend. So sad. We have no bunnies left now.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Thank you for the lovely welcome!
A bit about me..
I'm a 25 year old married mother of one.
My husband and I bought our first house in October 2014 after a lot of hard work and saving, and with me being on maternity we have since continued our frugal life style. I have been back at work part time since last August but only do about 10 hours a week as childcare is too expensive, we decided we would both rather I spent most of my time at home with the little one.
I am a natural saver and although we earn very little put together we still manage to do nice things.
Current savings;
»I am currently saving £2 coins for a trip to Disney in about ten years haha
»I'm obviously saving change in my sealed tin for Christmas 2016.
»Working on 6 months of expenses £7030/£7200
»Saving for maternity with next child (if and when!)- target £3700
There's more but feel like my post is getting a little tedious haha.. I am a little obsessed with saving!
