Oooo, forgot to say that DD found 1p at the Mr T self service today and happily popped it in our pot
She does love to put her roadkill in the pot bless her, i'm almost tempted to let her help with the count up on opening day . . . well thats if I could hold out until she gets home from school  . . wonder if I could convince the school to have an inset day that day

I know how you feel TD. I went to the Barbican last October to see Benedict Cumberbatch in Hamlet. OMG in the flesh!!!! Then afterwards he signed my ticket and I got a few photos at the Stage Door:happyhear Enjoy!
That's what my pot was for last year, and there ended up being £300 in it. Obviously everything was pre-booked so it was all spending money. Plus I had another £150 available in the bank as well, and brought the £300 home!!SPCNo.18 #20 (17 £562.86 16 £678; 15 £1120.92; 14 £416.53; 13 £191.52; 12 £260.48; 11 £480.95; 10 £682.31; 9 £442.64)

Another £2.10 into the pot - I sent the eldest to school this week with the full 5 days of dinner money, forgetting they were only there 4 days so clunked the change as soon as it came home.MSE-ing since 20070

Morning all
Busy today so won't get much chance to post or read up
This is such a fast moving and friendly thread, so thank you to everyone in it and welcome to all the new people who have just joined.
Tomorrow I can get my money out so will feed my pot some of its penny challenge allowance and any more I can during the week. I can't wait, it feels like ages since I fed it.SPC~12 ot 124

I was checking my credit card statement yesterday and found that my annual cashback of £86.56 had been credited to the account. So into the pot it goes. My intention is for any free money (cashback from whatever source, MOC, vouchers, surveys, as well as road kill) to go in the pot and pay for Christmas. I just have to resist breaking into the pot.Books - the original virtual reality.

£1.65 in the pot! There's a nice looking £5 note in my purse, wondering whether to pot that too or use it for car parking tomorrow then pot the change....0

Several attempts to buy a lottery ticket online last night failed as their website crashed with all the extra traffic:eek:
Glad it did though as not a single one of my numbers came up and that meant £2 not wasted:j
Had a spare £2 coin so have put that in my £2 coin piggy . That's 2x £2 coins in the same week. Mustn't get carried away:rotfl:0 -
Very pleased as sold one of my dog beds that neither of them liked using - it was a really nice one so got £20 for it and that will be going into the pot. DD also gave me some change to go in; she's really into it! Also I'll soon have a £5 Morrisons voucher to go in as well when I next do an order .... oh the waiting is so hard isn't itFlymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0
