I have decided to be slightly unconventional and count my pot money as I go, opening a passbook account to pay in full bags of change.

A family member needed change for £5 (so I had to swap) and the note is just too tempting to spend/put in my 3% current account otherwise.
  • 71p in the pot yesterday and I start overpaying my cc today which is a good step forward

DD2, her Hubby and DGS have gone home, we think we've gone deaf!!
To be truthful though we haven't heard him much during the night, only on one of my many trips to the loo (the joys of Intersticial Cystitis) mummy is well and baby is thriving, he's now just under 8lbs.
Had a few NSDs so caught up on my potting plan.
Have a good potting day all x

I've decided that alongside my pot, I'm going to transfer the odd pennies in my bank account across to my mortgage when I log on to check my internet banking (normally a couple of times a week). I already try and over pay at least the interest each month on top of my monthly payment, and I know these extra pennies will likely add up to about £20 maximum, but every little helps! :D
  • Good morning everyone!

My gorgeous boy is back at school today, will miss him but now the small boy and the big one are both out of the house I can get on with some deep cleaning which needs attending to and can only do it when they out of my hair.

£5 in my pot today, have a wonderful day everyone xxxx

I know I'm late but happy new year folks.

Been super busy as worked less due to nursery shut.

But I'm still potting away! One pot nearly full already I'm hoping that's a sign I'll meet my target.

Little boys is full after 18 months - we are opening on his first birthday in March! Can you believe someone snuck in a £50 note? The kids richer than me lol

  • Potted a massive €1 today that I found while cleaning out the house. Planning a nice relaxing day now, I was running around all morning so it's time to put the feet up! Got washing done and house is nearly clean - need to scrumage around for some lunch now!
