Saver-upper

Aww,feeling so sad at the moment.OH stil being a bit "off" at me (has been for days),because our ways of doing things are different.Our house looks like a bl£$sed tip.All very slow getting organised.After watching me for 5 days move things into one of the kids' bedroom,he says to me as we are packing up tonight "that bedroom will need to be emptied out because the builders will need to pull up the flooring to see which way the beams of the house go" (!).Course,he couldn't have said anything on damn Monday!!:mad::mad:.Well,he can help me move it all over the weekend.
After we spent time continuing to pack stuff this afternoon,we went back to inlaws' for tea.I have now come back home for a few hours cos I am fed up with his misery.
Feeling sad at leaving dad behind in 2015.The thought is making me cry.Will phone mum in a short while to let her know I am thinking of her.
Anyway,found a £1 coin while I was resetting the internet a little while ago.Will pot it when I go upstairs.
I wish everyone a very Happy New Year.Soon I will go back to inlaws' ,we will wake up the kids so they can see the countdown into the New Year with us.(A few days ago,9yo DD,who knows inlaws have no internet or Virgin/Sky,etc,and is so looking forward to the countdown,asked if we would be able to see "the big clock on Grandma's tv".:D)

Well today I emptied my Roadkill Pot....I always see how much I can find across a whole year....in 2015 I found £4.75... That's just money that people have either thrown away, dropped or left in till's at the Supermarket....


There were a lot of Coppers so I put them in my Copper Yoghurt Pot....And then put the Silvers into my other Pot...and then put a pound Coin into another Pot where I'm saving to go to Disneyland Paris just before Christmas...


So I'm pleased with that
