julie toots - Please note that your new No is 075. The previous owner didn't return, but if she does she's welcome to re-join and be given a new one. BTW. I hope you found some tips and encouragement for saving on the 1st Post: keep visiting the thread regularly and more encouragment will come, tips too!
minmac - Please note that your new No is 078. The previous owner didn't return, however, if she decides to she's welcome to re-join and be given a new one.

A gold star for you, Lynne, :staradmin you too, 12 month challenge, and thanks for the help both. :staradmin Good saving as well for you both!
So sorry not to be here yesterday, everyone, but we had a WONDERFUL time with all the family round for the day - pure bliss with so many laughs!! :j We ALL loved every minute!! :grinheart
For any poorly members here are some {{{hugs}}} for you all to help you get well soon.
Shazbat - Please would you add your No 66 on your signature for me?? It makes a huge difference to me. It's goood to hear your DH is joining in saving!
Don't you believe it, Vicky, I reckon your DH just loves to tease and leaves the money there deliberately, well done him if that's the case!
Thanks for popping your NO on for me, Nicki_Sue, now keep saving well and you'll be going great guns!
You're saving in an excellent way, plumduff55, be proud!!
Fantastic saving, Frugalgurl!! See, even on a NSD there's always a chance of something turning up!!
Oh dear, Saver-upper, to be honest, I feel sorry for you and your DH as you've been through so much for a good while! Your dear Dad's passing is going to take quite a while to get over as you're still grieving! No doubt you're also concerned about your dear Mom, especially as she's in Oz, so far away. Coupled with that, there's all you've been through with the house over so many months! Then living with your In-laws has bound to have placed even more pressure on the pair of you. Try to get an evening out together, have a meal then make a pact to talk and be honest and open with each other about what's bugging you. Talking is huge, so...do so! Love will see you through this horrible time, be sure of it.BTW. You're so right, Sue does love ALL that cash you've potted, a terrific amount!!!!

There you are see, frasersmum, the roadkill angels have been about and guessed you could do with some more cash! :AModestyB wrote:Thought I'd better pop in and post before Sue gives my SP no. to someone else. :rotfl:
Potted £4.14 a couple of days ago and just put £5.03 in.
You cheeky b:shhh::silenced::silenced:er, Modesty!!!! :rotfl: I only give Nos away of those who haven't been here, usually, for roughly a year. I must admit to having a good giggle at your words. :rotfl: Good potting!
A really good sum saved in your roadkill pot, Helen!!!! :T I hope you have a great 2016, a safe, healthy and Happy one too!
Very well done with the Holding Pot cash, carbootcrazy!!
I wondered where you'd got to, TheDapster. The Daffs have been out down here for several weeks, a delightful splash of yellow at such a miserable wet time. I bet they were a real sight at Kew. A very safe, healthy and Happy New Year to you also......
......to you also, mossy, and well done with that cheeky £1!!!lemonpopsicle wrote:I'd like to re-join please sorry I'm late, I seem to require a new number :-( my target is £250
Hello there, lemonpopsicle!!!! :hello: There was I honestly thinking you'd forsaken us, though I must admit I found it hard to believe, but here you are and I'm so delighted!!! :j Sorry but I had to give your No out to another member last week. However, I've got the nearest No possible for you, which is 073. Now that's not so bad is it and fairly close to your former one!
Good to have you back again and I've updated your Target.
Good potting, Val!!lynnejk wrote:Last month I made £475.26 on the £10 a day challenge. So that's £250 to my regular savings on the 10th and the balance of £225.26 to my SP

Brilliant work, Lynne!!!!!! That challenge you're in certainly pays great dividends, fantastic!! :j
TheCatsandDogsMother - It looks as though that bush you were in turned out to be a money tree!!!! :rotfl: I hope you had a wonderful time.
ooooh, just lovely, sunshine, well potted!!carbootcrazy wrote:Also, found a £1 coin under the trollies at Morrisons this morning (I wasn't grovelling on my hands and knees just in case someone had dropped any, honest;)) so that's been potted too:j
Are you really sure about that, carbootcrazy??!! Re the petrol nozzle, you be as OCD as you like in wring it's neck to get the last drop!!!!!! Wouldn't it shake you if it started screaming! :rotfl:Enjoy a fantastic weekend, Potters. with a great Saturday to begin with!! Keep filling your pots!

Hugs to you Saver Upper, it must be so stressful to be near enough living on top of each other for the last few months and with christmas as well meaning you can't even get away from each other through work  Agree with Sue about the meal, sometimes just a few hours away from everything and just having a chat can help calm the stress a bit.
DH and I now have a meal out every week in fact which is our 'couple time' and where we talk about every thing bothering us, what we want to do re the house / holidays / saving money and even what we will do when the kids leave home  (should that day ever come :rotfl:) it really helps keep the arguments at bay (as we really do live in each others pockets due to our health).
Ahh Sue, DS is doing well with his debt, he's already paid back £140  (it would have been more but old softie here just couldn't bring herself to take a full half of his christmas money) so if he carries on with £20 a month, he'll be clear by end September :T
I am crawling the walls at the minute, my head is desperate to go out but my body is not having any of itDH just took me into town this afternoon to get some cheap wrapping paper and my body just went 'ummm nope!' feel so very poorly. Problem is because I always feel poorly that I don't realise I have another 'illness' until I try to do something, i'm not sure if im a bit fluey as I don't want to eat anything and am so very tired, have definitely been coughing and sneezing for last few days though and am a bit heady, congestiony IYKWIM.
Anyway, enough of my pity party (especially as DH just gave me a nice hot cuppa) I have a lovely £2 coin from my wrapping paper purchasesSPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -

Happy new year. We were lucky enough to be given some money for Christmas which we have just spent in a large DIY store on bits for the house  The change has gone in our pot :T

Happy New Year everyone! Hope everyone has had a good break, although catching up on posts I have noticed that some have had some sad times
- my condolences & hugs.
I've been hitting the sales but not in a big way as I wanted to buy yarn for knitting primarily. Still some spending produced lots of 50p's for potting. Today I potted £2.50 in 50p's ! :j
Looking forward to beating my potting total from 2015 this year too!

£1.28 potted today. I've been out and bought my lunches for the coming week so that should cut down on what I usually spend on central London sandwich shop prices
