  • Hi again Frugalgurl

Lets hope that 2016 will be a very good year for all of us.

I have only been doing so well on my financial journey to freedom because of this great site, and the lovely, encouraging, honest support I have been receiving from ALL of the members. :D

I have finally learned to control my money/spending and not letting it control me.

Wishing you good fortune in 2016 and beyond

  • Hello everyone, i've been pretty quiet over the Christmas period, as there hasn't been a spare penny to pot at all. I'm back with £5 into my pot today, so feeling a bit better now.

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas.
    Whatever it takes.

  • :santa2: Good morning everyone,

Well I hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas, we had a nice time, just the four of us, so no pressure to do what others wanted.

Everyone, but me has had to go into work over the holiday:rotfl:

I have been potting and yesterday, went to Mr Ts to see if there were any bargains, and potted £4.40, I also found a 50p lurking on the side which no one claimed so popped into my pot this morning.:D

Will try to keep reading and potting, I am so determined this year to have a good total in November, so as not to struggle again this Christmas.

    Have a great day everyone.

Found another 15p left on the side so gave it a new home. Have tidied out my handbag and found change in the bottom. Have put in holding jar for now until I have used up some products fRom my other challenge and then will transfer.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
