Why do they not have useful stuff like that already?? My house has hardly any sockets .. we've added loads since living here.. I think I added 8 in the kitchen alone!!

we had a double one on the landing and discovered one of them didn't work. Called out an electrician to discover that the reason it didn't work was that it wasn't wired up - who puts a double socket in and only wires one half of it?

A kind of a nap was had - more just an hour sitting cuddling LittleyDog and then DH came home early. So we've had tea and I've WUDUPA.

Just watching rubbish telly now. Fireworks going off all around tonight. LittleyDog's not bothered, never has been. This is the first year though that OldDog is not bothered now that she is deaf. Sad but nice that she's not trying to hide.

    See you all tomorrow.

someonewho wanted a single socket but ordered a double as ir was 'cheaper'?

When I moved here - I bought the house from a couple I knew (first time I walked in I asked for forst refusal should they ever sell) I asked, as there were som many sockets. what they actually plugged in! There's a cupboard under the stairs and one on the landing - each has a socket! and in my bedroom there are 5 double sockets!

Piggers - excellent chair-scrubbing! - they look fabulous! What did you use?

  • What a bargain Pigpen, they look really comfy.

My training course took up all day but was actually very interesting.

Tumble drier on again, as is washing machine. Lots of tidying to do but will tackle it tomorrow. Like Bossy I feel like hibernating tomorrow but not sure how this will go down with everyone else.

Oh and I must do a mealplan and update my spreadsheets. Tired now.

  • Evening all,

Just checking in to say hello, no flying done today (or yesterday for that matter) as it was dd1's eighth birthday and my dads birthday today so we've been doing lovely things!

piggers do your days have about eighty hours in them? You are amazing!

    Bossy glad you feel better.

CY Well done with the money raising, that's brilliant!

Now I'm going to write me a list for tomorrow as the house is a mega tip, and smells of wet muddy dog. Lovely.

    Xx
