Morning all.
We've had a lie-in but now I'm raring to go and [STRIKE]bribing[/STRIKE] gently encouraging DD to get her self moving as well. I want the house clean in the next 2 hours so we can get errands in town run this afternoon. I say 2 hours as that's how long it's going to take for the wash load that's in and needed to finish & be dried
Time to sort out the list and see what we can achieve!
Monday Mayhem: A bit of everything!
Level 1
Starting upstairs, work your way through the house with that feather duster (or whatever you have). Dust and deweb, as far through as you like / need.
Level 2
Follow your dust trail with the vacuum cleaner, only lift it upstairs if it's safe to do so.
Level 3
Wipe out the fridge and stick any grot in the compost / bin.
Extras:
- Eat a frog
Level 1
Wipe down your large appliances.
Level 3
And the oven too, if you've any steam left!
Extras:
- Set aside a little time for you, this week!
- Mop a floor or two.
- Have you sorted your winter list? Enough wellies? De-icer for the car?
Level 1
Dust from top to bottom
Sweep or vacuum
Level 2
Any other surfaces to clear?
Level 3
Wipe any grotty finger marks away
Carefully wipe any TVs, consoles, set-top boxes etc
Extras:
- Wipe down any artwork or picture frames
Level 1
Then deweb and dusting the fluffy surfaces
And then vacuum...
Level 2
Strip the bed. Air and turn the mattress if needed. - Sunday job
Replace with fresh linen.
Level 3
Wash a window or two
Wipe door handles and light switches
Dust your light fitting
Extras:
- Locate hats and scarves etc
- Find something you'd like to read
Level 1
Clean the sink, taps and grotty plugholes
Toilets! Don’t forget the outside!
Clear that cluttered windowsill or shelf
Level 2
Straighten up your desk and wipe over – desks harbour germs too!
Switch off the kit and wipe over the keyboard with an antibac wipe or similar
Level 3
Back to bathroom, clean the bath / shower
Mop the floor
Wash a window or two
Extras:
- Squirt some bleach / antibac
- Delete some emails
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Dogs walked, hoovering and ironing done. About to read the paper and do some puzzles before resuming flying. I have ten hours on my own still today.Spend less now, work less later.0

Morning all.
Another wet and windy start to the day here. It's brightened up now, but still blustery.
I was going to do all sorts of odd jobs this morning but ended up having a lie-in and am still in my PJs - almost unheard of!
DH tried to buy our e-visas and managed to omit my details so I have got to go through the whole rigmarole again
Will go and finish the soup and have lunch before I shower and dress, so that DH can go out to buy an important bit for his railway.0 -
Sorry to post my list again but its easier to see what we've done

Its raining again here when according to the met office it should be dry! Reconsidered going to town today as DD has a stack of homework to do still after she's had lunch. I'll go Monday instead and can go on the bus if it's raining. I can get away with putting it off until then but no later as my bill for work needs paying at the latest Tuesday.Instead I'm going to get laundry done, finish cleaning the house and sort out shopping lists etc. Off to finish vacuuming downstairs and grab some lunch myself.

Ooh thank you Pigpen you have reminded me to add the need to get an electrical socket in the hall to my 'to do ' list!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Pretty lights!
We are home again, DD has put Charlie & the chocolate factory onso I'm having a brew then im going to start again.
It's wet and windy here too so I think we'll hibernate for the rest of the weekend. Did wonder if we might pop out for groceries tomorrow but we might hang on till Monday - I can pick up the few fresh bits we need after work.
So this afternoon it's downstairs floors, my desk and then I might venture back in the loft for another box of xmas tat.
I have a charity bag that accepts bric-a-brac :eek:Bossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0 -
Loving the light Piggers.
Dogs walked again, lunch and cake eaten, dishes washed, recycling and rubbish put out. And the sun came out so I've spent a lovely couple of hours tidying in the garden.
But now I've run out of steam. Might have a nana nap before resuming the day.Spend less now, work less later.0 -

Why do they not have useful stuff like that already?? My house has hardly any sockets .. we've added loads since living here.. I think I added 8 in the kitchen alone!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
