You may get a phone call soon. I went today and only got my tickets a couple of weeks ago. I few days before the tickets turned up I had a phone call from Harrods checking if I had the tickets yet. They said if the tickets don't arrive in time get there early and take my credit card as ID.
I would try to contact them though if I were you and find that email confirmation. GOOD LUCK!:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0 -

We did have to queue for 30 minutes or so but not too bad. Santa was very nice and chatty I agree and we were pleased with the photo. My boys were convinced with Santa and pleased to take their lists to him personally and my little one is enjoying the sticker book. The day cost us about £100 with train fairs and incidental costs like food and drink. We had a lovely day all in all saw a bit of London. Don't think I'd go again next year though.
I was planning to take my 9 and 10 year old boys. It sounds like they will be far too old for this.....more suitable for young girls maybe?
What do you think...should I save my money?
TIA

To be honest yes! Save your money your boys would probably prefer something else.
My 10 year old doesn't believe now but enjoyed it with my younger two but if I'd only had my 2 older ones I think it would have been a bit of a waste of time and money.
I didn't find it very magical at all, there were lots of people there with small babies who were obviously only doing it for that photo with Santa. If it's the photo with the Harrods name on that people want then they should go for it but otherwise I'm sure there are better grottos out there this year.
Not to say we didn't have a good time and the boys were happy to deliver their letters to Father Christmas but it could have been much better. Luckily we are off to Lapland in December, woohoo!!!:T:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0 -
Sorry but I have to ask what was the present from Santa and is it age specific? My 4 are all different ages is my 10 year old going to be dissapointed? The littleuns would be happy with anything.0

The gift is a Santa badge and an Usbourne Sleeping beauty sticker book. Santa only gave the sticker book to my youngest as he realised the older boys would not be impressed.
My boys weren't disappointed though as they were not expecting anything and just wanted to see Santa.:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0 -

We went to Selfridges last year and they had a very nice Grotto - they also have an online booking system (small charge per ticket)

?? No! There is still limited space available for those who show up on the day, so it's worth checking it out, just turn up when Harrods opens. I should know, I do that every year, (booking just means you'll avoid the wait) so if you don't book it means you'll be there for about 30-45 mins, but there is entertainment while you wait.
And the weekend of the 30th november is available on the website if you want to book.

just watch when you book the tickets. OH isnt one for reading the T&Cs and there must be a check box in there, as we have been charged £2.50 on top of the £3 booking fee, to have the tickets delivered. Kinda defeats the point of them being e-tickets, that he has already printed off

(sorry forgot to say, this is for the Selfridges Santa Sleigh ride)0
