Well the code of practice says they should be uniformed and any vehicle should have company markings. If not then that is another club to beat them with. :-)0

The potential problem being that they might produce a contract covering the relevant dates whilst concealing any subsequent cancellation of it.Je suis Charlie.0 -
UKCPS use the BPA logo on all their correspondence as well as their website.
upon checking the BPA approved members they are not on the list.
I am unable to paste the link as a new user.
can this be also used against them in court?0 -
I can't see the BPA logo on their website. But even it it were there it's of no use in defending a court claim from them.Je suis Charlie.0

bazster,
it is present on their compliance page and also used on all written correspondence0 -
They might still be members of the BPA. Doesn't mean they are an 'AOS member' (round logo with AOS in the wording).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Well if you'd said that in the first place! I wasn't going to wade through the whole poxy website checking every page.
They probably are BPA members. There's nothing to say you can't be a member of both the BPA and the IPC. What they are not is members of the BPA's Accredited Operator Scheme (AOS), and indeed the AOS roundel is not visible on that page:Je suis Charlie.0 -
I spoken to UKCPS today - told them that I had written confirmation that they wasn't authorised to be handing out invoices on the car park in question.
Her response (after being on hold for a few mins) was "I have just checked and this ticket is valid and going ahead"..... i replied with the fact I have written proof from the landowner that you are wrong, her response: "You'll have to prove that in court".
