My boss ( personnel ), decided to have a word with me around 4pm
She shuffles her selection of papers in her hand, telling me she is playing catchup . 'I hear you want to resign' me:' did Julie explain why?'
So basically she hadn't a clue . Fairly amicable ,considering she is
more wooden than Sherwood Forest .
    I go Friday
The HR guy saw me in passing throughout the day and ignored me.
I left at 5pm,the door was closed..
He may have wanted a quick word, but I doubt it ..!!!!!!!
They obviously didn't know what to do with me .
    They can f o a d .
The rest of the week is now ahead ,and this hole is behind me

    Yep. Job done.....

    Next......:rotfl:
  • Looking into that , tonight/ tomorrow .
My living room, has empty crates and a thousand coat hangers.
Just had my dinner, looking to see if any migrants are behind crates etc.
    Tired .:)
  • keep your chin up AC.....you have done the hard part. Enjoy the rest of the week before you move on to where your life really begins.

    :T
  • Maybe they're running around like headless chickens wondering how they will cope without you.

    That's Quite a bombshell you dropped there.:rotfl:

Did they really have no inkling......

Just spoke to my brother. He thinks that , they are angry because I did drop a bombshell .
They had no,idea. Great really , when I give basically a weeks notice instead of a month. Plus my colleague comes back on the late shift expecting me to be there next Monday .
  • So, spoke to my brother. It looks very much like I should go to Poole next Thursday (10 days time).
If I can get his friend , it may be better.
The day of completion , is 2 weeks from today.

Oh, and a friend has sent me a link to enter into a ballot to see Metallica at a small venue in Waterloo on Friday week.
    If I get tkt , I'm going .

Try not to stress over it.

Yes your employers are angry, although they really shouldn't be. It's not personal. They should take emotions out of the equation and behave in a professional manner.

Yes your employers have staffing requirements and they have not been given much notice to make arrangements. However, that's not your responsibility. It's theirs.

Yes In an ideal world you would have given more notice but under the circumstances it was not possible.

What would they have done if you had been involved in an accident or a sudden serious health issue.

They would have had no notice at all.......they would have made alternative arrangements. They would have replaced you quickly enough. They would have probably engaged a temp to cover your absence.

No reason why they can't do that now.

    Found this..........

It's a bit overdressed but imagine it stripped naked - oo er missus - and it's a little gem.

It has good bones and seems to have plenty of good natural light.

Detached....no neighbour issues, private easy maintenance courtyard garden. In Parkstone which I understand is one of your favoured areas.

Not sure if it's over budget but it has recently been reduced so maybe there's some more wriggle room for a cash buyer.

Strip out all the clutter and overdressing and you are left with a nice light airy space, with a good layout.

Saw that last night LL, I can't work out what construction it is though, or see where it is on Google Street View. Gives me the impression of being like a park home, but yes on the face of it looks good.

The one bedroomed bungalow I found before is still up for sale as well.
