I've not been summonsed yet , so am waiting for that to be done.
I have told it as it is ,with one or two people this morning.
I told one lovely lady, that she is the best in the company ,and although fairly young ,she has a great personality from day one and has never changed.
One or two know about the harsh treatment I've had .
for example , I got a Christmas card from my colleague ,with the usual yearly insult . I found it in stuff I was chucking out over the weekend .
Other things have been mentioned .
Won't say anything in my meeting today . Just ,let me out please.:)0 -
Why do you torture yourself.
What was the purpose of keeping a card when the message it contained upset you so much. I hope you have chucked it now. You should have binned it straight away without a second thought.
Nursing our grievances does us no good, it just adds to the stress and negatitivity in our lives.
Let it go.
So you have been treated unfairly. It happens. Life is not fair. It's not fair that my husband was robbed of his life at roughly your age. Yes it made me angry but bottling up rage was no good for me. I had to let it go. And so do you. You will never be well if you let your anger and rage consume you.. Don't hang on to it. .
Good luck with your exit interview. Keep a still tongue in your head, be dignified, do not get into a slanging match or start playing the blame game.
Let go of all the Hurts and insults. Just walk away with your head held high, there's no need to get down in the gutter and slug it out just for the satisfaction of having the last word.
You've won, you are out of there. Be gracious. Be magnimous.
Only 4 days to go and your new life awaits.
Today it's glorious sunshine..... it's an omen.
The sun shines on the righteous. So be righteous. Be nice to your so-called enemies. (They hate that, so it's the best revenge there is).
I want you to relax those shoulders, hold your head up and SMILE.
Dont forget.......You are about to enter your golden age.0 -
You're right LL .
The card , was found hidden in stuff I took home from the office one Christmas. Should've been chucked. I saw it yesterday and although ripped up ,it reminds me not to let him know I'm going.
Case closed .move on:)
Still waiting for the calm ,and quiet interview ..:)0 -

Good man. Don't let them rattle you.
You have done really well. There are many who would have faltered along the way and given up by now.
You'll be fine.0 -
Not seen me yet . Maybe it's beneath the HR guy to see me.
My boss hasn't spoke to me about it .
Her door has been closed most of the day.
Shambolic company !0 -
Maybe they're running around like headless chickens wondering how they will cope without you.
That's Quite a bombshell you dropped there.:rotfl:
Did they really have no inkling......0 -
Hello AC. I recently looked into buying a flat in London with tenants in situ and there's a lot more to it than the standard legal searches etc. It was recommended that you get proper legal representation from a solicitor who is experienced in these things because you'll effectively be switching over the tenants contract to becoming your responsibility.
What about the deposit they initially paid? Will you get it passed to you? How long are they allowed to stay before you can legally give notice? What notice period did they initially agree? What's their history on paying the rent at the specified time? The list goes on.
It's a lot to take on and it warned that if you don't get someone with sufficient experience to handle it all, you can get very badly shafted.
That's just the tiny knowledge I have in that area. The price of the flat I saw was very low, and I think that must be due to the extra risks it gives you.

When our daughter was moving to Yorkshire, easily the prettiest house she/we saw had a tenant, and we did just enough research to decide that it was potentially a complication too far.
We were admittedly looking for the easiest move possible, as she was moving from Norfolk, and was up against the date term started in her new job.0
