Well, I haven't started the packing yet . I'll start something this week.
I may be getting a friend of my brothers to do the move.
He'll be doing a rubbish run or2 to get rid of my unwanted stuff.
Just a question of me getting my finger out I guess0 -
Good morning AC, all.
LL, I've just remembered, it was Byron, not Shakespeare... only, when I googled it, it turned out to be Tennyson. Shucks. Nil points.0 -
Tennyson, eh......well I never. :rotfl:
Thanks for that.
Ps. Currently brushing up on philosophy. Better make English poets next......
Most of my books are still in storage at DS1s, unless the recent infestation of mice demolished them.......0 -

Grrrrrrrr
Just went to Physio. Something cracking off in the building, loads of gas boiler repair vans, couldn't park in the car park so grabbed a spot on a nearby side street. £70 fixed penalty parking fine........
On a more positive note, received a cheque from the insurers which goes some way towards my Physio costs.
Time for coffee and then out again for an eye test. Oh the joys of aging.
I know "getting older is a privilege which some are denied" but sometimes it sure ain't much fun!!!!
You know you are getting older when instead of dancing for the sheer joy of it, dance becomes a necessary form of exercise. :rotfl:0 -
Sorry to hear that LL . I guess part of the cheque , will pay for parking fine .Anothet quiet and boring day. Prefer that , to the friction of the past .
A new franking machine will be installed tomorrow .
The 'office ', is full of large boxes, one on a pallet .
Never thought I'd see the day, that the company spent money on anything other than the traders and expenses. The place looks like steptoes back yard.
Having said that , I thought there was a chance of me being gone before the new machine arrives .
How much longer?0 -
Do you like licking stamps that much, AC?0
-
I've licked many things , so I guess I do0

Was possibly going to view a Propery to view on thurs , but it has now been let . Not Impressed.
This sale could drag on ..0 -
When I signed the contract on Monday , my solicitor thinks that the buyers are dragging their heels for some reason . I've done everything I can , so
cannot see what the hold up is now . Maybe , they're looking into the fascia . I don't know .
One other thing to note : I n the first week of Nov , my colleague is away and I'm expected to run the dept on my own as usual.
Getting agitated now0
