It must be so good for AC to hear from someone who has undertaken the same journey and who has made themselves a new and happy life. It's a big step which takes courage and fortitude, which you both have in buckletloads.

You are both definitely made of the "right stuff":D

I agree wholeheartedly with your suggestion about volunteering. It's an excellent way of getting to know people and discovering a new area. You can have fun and "do good deeds" at the same.

I love the idea of making some new furry four legged friends too. I think it wouldnt be good for me though.......I would want to adopt them all. I am already in danger of quietly turning into a "mad cat lady" .......

Move over John Keats, LL is in da house. Whatever you and Amora are taking, I want some. I just missed out on a £5 survey for the second time in two days (it re-appeared for some reason) only to get another a few minutes later for, wait for it... £0.17. Yep, seventeen pee. Story of my life, thunk I. Then I read Amora's post, went back to check again and there was one for £1.70. Your positivity must have rubbed off, me dear. Cheers! :T

Howdy! Yesterday : felt great . Went to bed around 4.20pm,for a quick nap.
3 hours later.. obviously needed it.
This of course meant , that I had a sleepless night again.
This morning , forced myself out of bed around 7 am
Had loads of tidying up ,as place was a tip !

Just had acupuncture . Will miss mandy. One of the most important people since Dec 2014!
She is amazed and full of admiration for me, and what I've been through.
She listed the key things Such as : swallowing difficulties/ being in hospital a couple of times / the final written warning from my Job/ mum dying , and my brother
I have put on more weight, which she obviously told me needs to be lost .
Feel fine now, albeit a bit tired.
So although I'm scared. She thinks I will be fine

How often do you see your acupuncturist, there is no need, surely, to give up. If she is supportive and helps what is a once a month trip to see her?
