    Start packing!
You said before that you'd begun picking up free metros and standards to use to wrap stuff. Have you carried on doing that? If so you should at least have enough to make a start.
If you leave it until you have a date you'll run out of time.
Fingers crossed that this is it and exchange by Friday!

  • Verbatim..I've done nothing. :) just not up to it.
However, I have a feeling that as soon as I have the green light , I will be running on adrenaline and will be hitting realty, and the wheels will be spinning.
LL : I think the buyers solicitors are indeed nit picking , and trying to score brownie points for the buyers.
Had a 20 min nap. That's it. My mind is telling me, to look towards Friday to give my notice in.if it is Friday, then I will be having 3 days off next week. In that time , I will have checked out the properties in parkstone.
Oh, and the packing will be well underway by then.

Got a phone call from o e of my other brothers today. I think he is worried for me . I will be the first to leave London out of the 6 of us .
He is trying to arrange a get together on a Sunday before I go.
I'm not in right frame of mind this Sunday. Probably next .

Anyway, I'm just looking forward to steps 1 and 2: hand in my notice. Ask nationwide for immediate help.( Hooing they will give it of course)
  • A little while ago , I tried to edit the email and put the answers to the questions directly under each one and have the print in a different colour.
Unfortunately , I was unable to do so , and let my solicitor know venting my frustration of all the trivial stuff that the buyers solicitor is after rather than the nitty gritty.
I am tired , so whatever happens happens
    Zzzzzzzz
  • Woke up feeling relaxed and mellow ..at 2.30am
Now I'm tired and agitated .may feel better , after this coffee

You're turning night into day. :rotfl:
  • Talking to myself on here today . I probably need locking up anyway:)
News: spoke to my solicitor , who wanted me to clarify the situation.
He thinks the buyers solicitors are playing for time. Bizarre as I was under the impression ,that they want to be in my home by October .

Cutting a long story short : I 'm seeing him to sign contract on Monday .
He has decided to put pressure on them by telling them, he wants exchange by fri28th. I said I would like a 2 week gap from exchange to completion . I have typed out my letter of resignation to my employers ,so we will see.
  • So , my solicitor has basically done everything IMHO .
He has told them : hopeful oct 28 exchange / 11 Nov completion

I spoke to chase Buchanan . He will liaise with their solicitor .

So I have to wait another 8 days to do anything .
My notice is on my desk in an envelope , waiting to go ...
  • Slowly but surely, my left eye is tiring more these days .
Speech in the office , little slurry .
I need a rest . Very tired . Hoping Friday week is the completion .

I know it's really hard AC but hang on in there. DO NOT hand in your notice, no matter how tempted you are, before exchange and with a FIRM completion date.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
