Looking on the holiday planner at work, I see the only time booked is my colleague who has mon7/Nov - fri 11 Nov booked .
Wonder if I'll still be here then..

I often wish I lived nearer to the sea (am just about as far away as you can get in the Midlands) but with all my family and most of my friends here I am unlikely to move now. Yesterday I was sitting in the garden and the sound of the traffic (which is never very intrusive where I live) was a bit like the sound of distant waves - very rhythmic and soothing so I spent an hour or so doing nothing much. So now I have my "virtual" seaside home to go with my "virtual" smallholding (just my small back garden with a few bits of veg. planted, and a cat) I can retreat to wherever takes my fancy - ain't imagination a wonderful thing (loads of song opportunities there).

Hell, no. No rain here, bit humid but still worth hanging washing out. Got three loads done and dry yesterday. Tomorrow is supposed to be low-mid twenties, then I reckon the summer's done. At least we got one, this year.
