Very frightened now .
Just had a look at the solicitor questionnaire .
One of the questions 'has the seller complained about the neighbour?'
The answer to that , is 'YES!'
I had to send pictures of the neighbours overgrown garden to the property management company. This resulted in everyone in the close , getting a letter to keep their garden tidy .
So, it looks like I'm screwed !
Can't see anyone buying this place now .
Should I pull out ??
I have to pay £150 upfront this week . Might just pay that and quit0 -
Can you not offer to do the neighbour's garden yourself, AC? It's OK, I have already donned my hard hat.
Or perhaps you could say the management company are aware of the overgrown garden but pretend another neighbour reported it??? Presumably your buyers saw the state of this garden?0 -
If I was your buyer it wouldn't bother me. I think it would be more worrying if you'd had reason to complain to the environmental agency, planning dept. or the police. I would worry about anti-social behaviour or nuisance neighbours but not about the garden - unless it's the one that was in the news yesterday, full of knotweed!0

Thanks .
Smodlet , her garden has since improved .
What happened 2 /3 years ago , I politely asked her if she could
Trim her garden. She shouted at me etc.
So, I took pics and sent them to the managing agents .
Then we all received a letter telling us to keep our gardens tidy.
Since then , nothing .
So, I have to disclose this information ?0 -

If the question is worded that way, then strictly speaking the answer is no, as your concern was about the garden not the neighbour. That question, however it is written, is about things like anti social behaviour, boundary disputes, parking disputes and so on.
2/3 years ago you've forgotten about it with all that's going on in your life, right?0 -
Yes harz2/3 years of hell
it was around the time my left eye collapsed for a few months etc:)
The question did ask if I had to bring the problem to the attention of the prioperty mgt co. And the answer is yes .0 -
Btw: it was that horrible climbing stuff, begins with L and sounds Welsh .
Couldn't see outside my bedroom window. I'm upstairs maissonnette0 -
Normally , I seperate my problems , 1 at a time wherever possible .
The thought of moving is now terrifying me . Probably because I'm doing it on my own . I will rent first ( if the sale happens ).
Believe it or not , I'm asking myself 'are you sure Poole is the right place ?'
Speaking to my friend from Southampton , who thinks it will be way too quiet for me and I will be bored quickly.
I thought about the tiny studio flat in twickenham which would clear my debts and I stay here .0 -
Sorry to go on , but one or two other things on my mind.
1) to get to my garden( which is at the rear of the property ),
I have to walk past the neighbours.
She has plants which make the footpath more narrow.( in other words overgrown ).
All of the viewers had to walk into my garden and nobody commented.
That's good .However, when I disclose the 'dispute', the buyers may have second thoughts .
2) For months I've been praying for a sale. Debt aside ,the state of central London , the smelly/.airless buses and the hassle of getting home in the rush hour is telling me to go . It's what's pushing me out .
My accupuncturist , has said I need change , and admires me for going this far . I am now petrified0 -
Wth regards to the issue of the garden - is there room for you to write an explanation? If so you could put that a number of years ago you raised the issue of a problem garden but that has now been resolved. If the garden is now OK are you able to get a picture to prove that? Add another piece of paper with details if there is no room.
The time you spend renting in Poole should let you know if you will be bored or not. If you stay in Twickenham your money will be eaten up more quickly. Do you want to stay in that job? Are you prepared to spend a lot of your savings before you get benefits if you leave?
You are bound to be nervous at first but would you rather be nervous or spend the rest of your life wondering how great things could have been in Poole - or somewhere else?Aiming to make £7,500 online in 20220
