Sounds like a very productive day!
I wouldn't feel guilty - I enjoy spending time away from my hubby because it makes the time together more valuable as we haven't been in each other's pockets all the time. And I just like my alone time. I get squirrelly if I'm with people constantly for too long!

I must say, being able to starfish in bed is a godsend! OH is in the forces so I see him most weekends but sometimes he's gone for months at a time which is far from easy. The worst part is that half the time when he's gone there's no comms, so it's as if he's dropped off the face of the earth/never existed - pretty scary and surreal in an age where everyone is always on their phones!

Okay that's pretty daunting! I'd struggle with that :grouphug:

I know what you mean about the starfish. Although hubby and I took it one step further and we actually bought 2 double beds and put them next to each other in our bedroom so we have a double bed each and wall to wall beds!! We've both got completely different mattresses too :rotfl:

That's meant to be a group hug, not some sort of weird pervy body massage!!!!

Ha don't tell my OH - that's his dream! He keeps "threatening" me with separate beds once we get older :rotfl:

I forget, do you have any kids mrsp1987? Cause that bed of yours sounds ideal for kiddy cuddles at night :heart2:

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: That really made me chuckle!

£0.89 TT'd - although because I only have a current account with the Spanish bank, my TTs don't go into a separate pot but I embarrassingly enough OP them straight away. H@lifax must think I'm silly :p

I'm waiting for £2.71 to come through from £co as well this week so that will also go straight into the mortgage.

One thing that bugs me is that €on STILL haven't settled the dispute I had with them over the incorrect meter readings. They said it would take up to 6 weeks to sort out and it's definitely been longer than that now.I just want them to get it over and done with so that my direct debit can be lowered again and I can use the excess cash towards the wedding fund/OPs.

Can you contact an ombudsman of some sort to move them along?

To be honest I hadn't thought about it but maybe I should look into it.

From talking to €on it sounds like they needed to send someone out to check the meter readings (couldn't take my word for it obviously :p) but the guy gave them a reading completely different from what I said it would be, so they (and I) reckon he actually checked another flat's reading by mistake. So now they've contacted the gas supplier (G4S I believe) to go double check for them and are waiting to hear back. Not sure an ombudsman would be of any use in that case? Then again as a silly foreigner I don't really know how they work around here :D
