sympathy to you. have you got bounts installed on your smartphone? might as well get paid for walking.

    yes custom charges are ridiculous

Is that an app that literally pays you for walking? Because my uni is a 5-mile round tripe as well so.

That £17.50 sale came through :T

I have to walk 6.5 miles  to collect something from the PO sorting office today. Customs charge on an xmas pressie from US for £13.43 arrived on the 9th but couldn't pay until Friday but cos they only keep it until today (21 days) they wouldn't redeliver it because they "need 2 working days from payment, within 21 day limit"

The area sorting office is 3.2 miles away...

Also £13.43 charge on a £20 item is taking the p***

That sounds like the sort of Xmas prezzie you can do without !

If I don't collect it they'll send it back and I'll be £30 out of pocket (AND have to buy another pressie from somewhere)

@Aesop I can't get that app. It needs iOS 8 and I'm on an iPhone 4 (second-hand, like all my phones :money: ). Unfortunately iOS8 isn't compatible with the 4.

Now I know December is going to be quiet with christmas and holidays and family time. So I don't expect us to reach 1000 posts. It would be nice if we did though...:rotfl::cool::D;) no pressure....

seriously, don't feel like you have to post. If you are busy, do what you need to do and only post if you have time.
  • Wow, this thread is doing soooooo well both for money-making and the post-count:j:j:j

A special:beer: from me to all the ebay sellers, you are stars. I used to sell loads on there from the late 90s onwards but haven't been too happy with it this last 4 or 5 years (when I could have most used the money too:o).

Aesop, fantastic when something finally sells. Well done for your persistence:T. Procrastinater, sorry if you think I'm being nosy:o but what on earth are you selling to make such mega prices?

I was wondering that too but thought maybe they didn't want to say because it's an open forum.

But well done Procastinater for whatever it is! :T

It's just such a shame ebay and paypal take so much in fees. We would all be millionaires otherwise.
