Siouxsie32 wrote: »Thanks for this TheBanker. Now you mention the 13 month thing, it rings a bell. What you say about it bouncing back to the company is what the bank said so that must be what happened (I trust what you say. I thought the bank were fobbing me off :rotfl:
I used to work in Payments so I know this is what happens. The thing is when the company check for a credit, they need to look a few days after the original payment was made. If the original payment was Faster Payments, the rejection credit should normally be the same or next day, but if it was BACS it could be 5 - 6 days after.
There is a very, very small possibility that something has gone wrong in which case a trace will be needed, but this is unlikely as the whole process is automated so it normally just happens.
Let us know what happens.
NB the switching re-direction is now 36 months, but it would have been 13 months when you switched which is why I think this got rejected.0 -

Had a chat with CAB this morning and I've been entitled to a premium on my ESA for the last 19 months which I haven't been receiving . I'm going to try and get it backdated but it's touch-and-go as those b*tards will worm their way out of anything. Prayer circle, guys. They owe me £5,000
Just about to pootle off and do my surveys. Stay warm everyone!
OMG I hope you get it back fingers crossed, I would just keep fighting it until it's less hassle for them to give t back. Good luck xxTotal Debt [STRIKE]£25,460 [/STRIKE](23/02/2016) £13,416.94.(paid 48%)

I just want to say a quick thankyou to everyone on this Forum. I am useless at keeping up my money making goals but the forum has been a real inspiration and I have managed to lower my debt for the 4th month in a row now which I never thought would happen at the start of the month as we were really short for the bills. So instead of being in about £200 more debt than last month we are in £95 less I know it's not a huge reduction but it's in the right direction yay
