I really need to get back into this but the mindless clixgrid eats my soul and then I lost a Level on CF and just got fed up.

When it comes to the tasks I go through phases. I rarely do them these days. Sorry about losing a level :(

I have an avios account I had forgotten about, so reactivated it and they are giving me 1000 avios points. Looking at my account, I can cash out for 1 child ticket to London Eye. My DS wants to go up it, so that will be fab. Now to find a adult goes free with a paying child to London Eye lol.

Had a chat with CAB this morning and I've been entitled to a premium on my ESA for the last 19 months which I haven't been receiving . I'm going to try and get it backdated but it's touch-and-go as those b*tards will worm their way out of anything. Prayer circle, guys. They owe me £5,000

Just about to pootle off and do my surveys. Stay warm everyone!

make sure you supply any documentary evidence of your premium that they may need, and take it as high as you can go. don't back down. if you are owed it, it should be paid. follow their complaints procedure/appeals etc, get MP involved etc. good luck x

I already went through that on the phone and the woman insisted the IS10 doesn't require evidence, that the form is literally 2 questions "do you live alone?" and "does anyone claim CA for you?" (if that's not proof it's just a stupid 'gatekeeping' form I don't know what is)

But I will send my old (read: initial for the period from Apr 14 to Oct 14) tenancy agreement, my c/tax bill that shows single occupancy (2015/2016 bill so sort of picks up where the old agreement left off), and my DLA entitlement anyway.

Going to request a backdate ("if you want to request it, just write it on the back of the form, there isn't a separate procedure") on the grounds that, to my knowledge, the information re: ending of CA had been communicated to them when my carer phoned DWP to end her claim and that I also wasn't aware of my entitlement to the SDP until I spoke to the CAB - I thought it was only for people on high DLA but turns out it's also middle as long as you live alone.

I already want to set them on fire for deducting money from my ESA for a non-existent council tax deficit that I've been trying to sort of for 3 weeks.

Yipee! Went in to debenhams last weekend to attempt to return a watch which had lost most of its 'silver' after a couple months of wear. Used Martin's money forum advice on returns quoting phrases from the SAD FART acronym when the cashier was unwilling to replace it. I argued long enough and got given a replacement for free :-) £25 not spent and some useful advice gained on what to look for in my next purchase and care of product for future. Happy happy!
