Sorry I haven't posted much but have been busy with family things! Not that I have much to report, awaiting payday to see if my target has been hit.
I've had a letter from the toy auction house and one of my models- sealed and unopened is set to be auctioned in December, not sure about the rest yet!CRV1963- Light bulb moment Sept 15- Planning the great escape- aka retirement!0 -
Hi everyone
I have completely smashed my target but it feels like a bit of a cheat! My OH finally admitted that we had to sell the caravan. It was very difficult for him for various reasons and I haven't pushed him about it but anyway it went today for £2500 which we really need to pay off some debts and get us through Christmas etc. We also need to sell the jeep we had to pull the caravan so there will be some more money to come from that too hopefully. I haven't really made much other money this month so I am definitely counting it!

shariann I'm so pleased you had a successful result to the caravan sale, although it sounds as if it was a difficult decision to make. Think of the positives though, as having money available at this expensive time of the year must feel really good:T
Good Luck with the Jeep sale next:beer:
Enjoy your day off too:T0 -
well done everyone. nice to log in and see so many positive posts on money making. very inspiring.
we need a few more posts though....lol
I remember one year we were trying to do something similar on the drivel thread on printable coupons.
I did waffle on to make target though lol and we got there in the end.
so come on let's have a few more posts....
Will be doing my best, Aesop:rotfl:. Be prepared for a lot of mini-posts;)0 -
Siouxsie32 wrote: »Hurrah, I took a chance today with the Health Lottery - I've never played the Lotto or any other lottery, but I saw an advert that pointed out that if I deposited £10, I would get a bonus £5. That would never be enough to tempt me, but I checked Qui*co and they were offering £4 cashback if you deposited £10. So, I took a chance, deposited £10 in the knowledge that was only really costing £6 for £15 worth of play. Anyway, my first lucky dip ticket won me £20!! So, £10 back to my bank account and I'll count the other £10 as profit
Hopefully the cashback will track, and I still have 14 more tickets!
Ha ha, that's a longwinded way of saying I made my £10 for today :j
Well done, Siouxsie:T. And more chances left to make even more too:).
Have often thought of having a go on the Health Lottery but can't really afford it. The bonus offer and cashback make it much more attractive though. Might have a little look.....;)0 -
