    Afternoon all :hello:

Gosh - some people have been really busy and are making loads of monies. Well done :T

That was a sneaky trick FC but I don't blame you one iota ;)

So far this week I have added £26.

I had a car insurance renewal and, after a punt around, managed to save us £24 on the year - still keeping it just under the £200 for fully comp at £198 :money:

Also a couple of small surveys. Must get cracking on some more later :o

For anyone interested the chaps turned up with a freezer this morning at agreed time - unfortunately IT'S THE WRONG F**B** FREEZER !!! I just couldn't believe it and you definitely couldn't make it up

  • A whopping 2p roadkill today!

I've also done some overtime at work but I think I'm going to take it as time back so I can leave early over the weekend instead.
Money made on etsy in April: £0
Money made on ebay in April: £0
  • Ok sold a game for £4.99 + £4.99 p&p - so £9.98 - now Paypal take 54 p and ebay take 1.00 So I take it down the GPO and he says - That's too heavy for a small parcel - its a medium - so £15 odd for 2nd class ! So in the end I used collectplus at a cost of £6.29

All of this means that the Punter paid £9.98 and I get £2.15 ! SUMMAT Wrong there I think ! :(

Just £6.95 to add for now - but two big postages mean I have to give back £5.90 of what I've already claimed ! :rotfl:

SO seven steps forward and six back - as it were !

I use myhermes but it is best to weigh your parcels before setting a p and p price on fleabay.

if you have kitchen scales weigh your parcel before listing, otherwise take it to your local PO and ask them weight and then shop around for prices. I use myhermes for stuff under a kilo as only £2.60 if I drop off.

I am not sure if I should admit this but I don't have any kitchen scales and going to the post office means a drive to the next village. But Dave who runs the shop near my house is happy to weigh my parcels on his fruit and veg scales :)
  • A small £2.95 on my first shift back at work, however I can called in 2 hours early and mainly worked in the kitchen, which means 2 hours extra pay at a higher rate (kitchen get paid more) and will all go onto my wages next week. It will be a help after a week on the sick!

So adding the £2.95 (I don't add overtime).... It all helps! :D

that's cool, do whatever works for you, but I learnt the hard way to always weigh my items before posting :o:( as I lost a lot of money with incorrect postage too.
