yes I have been told the bubblews have all moved over there, or most of them anyway.
not yet, as still trying to find a job, make money etc etc. think DH is finding it very hard me not having a proper income.
I have signed up but not been on there yet.
I know what it's like don't worry you will get there, we were living on one income for about a year and it was tough. Although we are both working now and we don't seem much better off after paying for childcare I sometimes wonder if it is worth it. I'm looking long term though my job doesn't pay great but hopefully will have plenty of room to progress so fingers crossed.

Well, I've discovered why Scottish Power sent me the unexpected £43.85 yesterday:T. Incidentally I have no idea why they get such a bad press for their Customer Service (answering phones etc). I was answered on the 6th ring and the same person dealt with my issue from start to finish:T. No being on hold listening to musak for hours. I've never had anything less than first class service on the phone whenever I've had to contact them.
Apparently they have 3 options in their refund policy, ranging from any credit being retained by them to reduce future DDs to immediate refund of any credit over £5. I usually leave mine to cover any extremely cold weather and claim any available refund about once a year but for some reason (which I'd completely forgotten about doing:o) I'd ticked the box for the instant refund after my meter reading before this one.
Nice to have a bit of extra money in my bank account but a bit worried in case the threatened Siberian winter becomes a reality:eek:. Have now ticked the option again to leave any credit to use against higher bills.
Not sure whether I'm allowed to count this refund in my money-making total, Aesop. What's the rule please?0 -
Morning all! Been MIA i know.... Lots to catch up on! Been concentrating on my recovery so I can get back to work tomorrow.
Hope your all making good money
I've finally got some good things to add. £15 scratchcards cashed in and banked. Finally got my clubcard vouchers! £65.50 which will be doubled up to £130 so adding £130, also got a bonus of £1.50 so adding that too. Not adding my top ups as that is just saving.
Out of the 25 things I listed on ebay, 19 of them sold! SO SO happy with that, and one of them sold for almost £20 so I'm very shocked! Total made after fees I think is a HUGE £71.63. All paid up. Money transfered into savings and feeling happy. Especially since I've been off work and losing tips. Gonna get the packed up and posted today. The 7 that didn't sell will be relisted tonight. Also going to try and get those DVDs listed.
My savings account currently holds £143.76 and I have £132 in vouchers so my total stands for this month at £275.76.... all visual so I can actually see it! Delighted!

Well done on your money-making, that's a brilliant amount and there's almost half of the month still to go:T0 -
well done CP and CBC! :j:beer:
yes CBC you can claim it.
Thanks:T, Have added it and am now just under £8 short of my target:j. This month is being very kind to me moneymaking-wise but I still have the washing machine problem to sort out and pay for so I'm not exactly doing cartwheels;)
Enjoy the rest of your day, all:)0 -
Woke up this morning to a £9 sale on Discogs
In even better news, my family are finally going to repay the rest of the money they owe me in regular instalments (it started as a £7,000 loan which has been paid in dribs and drabs over the last 5 years, including buying my macbook 2 years ago, but they still owe £2,100 of it) so I got £50 today! Am I allowed to count that? I'm not technically "making" or "earning" it, but it is above and beyond regular income.
Also so far today:
£3.02 on Vivatic (up to £17.45 so only £2.55 away from withdrawing)
30 Opinion Outpost points (£1.50 - able to withdraw £3.25)
ValuedOpinions seems to have dried up, which is annoying. They only pay out in Amazon vouchers but I was hoping to get one by the end of the month. I've only received 2 surveys in 3 days now, and got screened out for both.
Today:
£63.52

Thanks everyone.
DH has come in from with with a couple of tool items he got given as an incentive. They selling for around £60 each. He has told me to put them on ebay, and anything over £50 I can keep, so I've put them straight on! :rotfl:
Stuck them on BIN of £50 with free postage, but with the option of making an offer. They might take a while to sell, but I'm not fussed as they were free  Be nice if I can make myself 30-40 out of it

Gosh and it drives me mad that my sister still owes me £200 from about 5 years ago. I'm glad you're going to start getting it back. I would say you could count it, if you weren't getting it before.
Not much to report for me today. I logged into my iPoll account and redeemed £32.89 that I had forgotten about. I tried to redeem it before but the site kept crashing and I didn't go back on there after that. So that was a nice surprise. I still have £4.62 in there but for some reason I couldn't redeem the whole lot but I'm happy with my £32.89 so my total so far this month is : £334.55
Hope everyone else is doing great. The hubby has just gone out to get a chinese so I need to up my game to compensate, we shouldn't waste the money but it is his birthday tomorrow and we were meant to be having two big nights out to celebrate but we have cancelled them to save money, I feel really bad for him about it but it was his ideax
