  • thank you for the welcome :) I was on MSE many moons ago but we are about to embark on a new adventure so I thought it was a good time to start my money saving again as well.

    So far this month
£15 pennies paid into deposit account (nice new shiny one for our new adventure :D )
£41.25 from quidco in amazon vouchers - already spent so ready to transfer into deposit account
£75 in vouchers from credit card loyalty - will add to total when I spend them

actually took a meter reading for elec & gas today - been so long since I've done that! This thread is a good influence!

    so total to date £56.25.
    £10 a day Dec total = £203.17/310
    £10 a day Nov total = £150

Grand total ready for our little adventure £353.17 :T
  • Nice to have you on board Teddy. New Adventure sounds interesting. You're not the only one who's not done a meter reading in ages. Might make that my new years resolution.

Aesop I am doing the Quidco but it's still on yesterdays and I just got into a right snit on a comping thread. Someone shackle me to this thread before I loose my lid elsewhere.

ignore comping thread. some compers just get to biug for their boots. comping is supposed to be fun, not competitive but you don't half see the bad side of people.

am on tablet so limited but i did quidco early hours and it was fine. it was superdry and nike. try ckearing internet cache
  • Thanks Aesop for the info on the Quidco and TCB comps, I won £2.50 on the Quidco one yesterday and again this evening so it's definitely worth giving them a go!

In other news, I've £10.19 to add from an ebay sale and should have another £10 to come for two other items but waiting to be paid for those so not adding that just yet.

I was just on topcashback trying to find some hummingbirds when I saw a cashback offer for lottoland. Deposit £2 get £10.50 cashback. I thought that's definitely worth a go so I did it. My £2 bought my two Euro lotto tickets at buy one get one free, and my cashback is already showing in topcashback less that 30 minutes later. I am very impressed so anyone after a quick cashback deal I thoroughly recommend this one. I won't count it until it's payable though x

I did this but they declined my cashback after a few weeks. I have submitted an appeal but I can't recommend this deal I'm afraid.

I have just totalled up and I am at £119.95 for the month - thanks to a couple of good ebay sales over the weekend, and another speedy payment from Ziffit for some books. It's not quite £10 a day but I'm really pleased with it so thanks everyone for the suggestions etc!

  • HI Everyone and well done for all the fabulous earning so far this month!

After my paypal account got closed i had a bit of a huff - how am i supposed to do anything without a paypal account? My mums account is restricted atm as well so i can't even use hers :( I am still fighting with them but its not looking good. I have now opened a new paypal account in the hope they don't figure out its me - that is taking a risk i know but i just can't earn without one really.

I have managed to make a few small ebay sales and quite a lot of fb sales and now i just need to wait on the money hitting my bank account. Fingers crossed for it to work.

As well as that i got a cheque in from Inbox Pounds for £29 odds which was nice and a cheque from the local craft shop for about £50 which was nice too. I'm now just waiting on those clearing and i can transfer into my savings account....

Extra payments have also been claimed from Survey Network, My Paying Ads and Clixsense. Again i am just waiting on the payments!

So despite my huffing i have actually been doing some work for the challenge ;) Hopefully i will have some actual money to add to my total over the next few days!
