I am going to try to save money on all sides going forward including the washing stuff for the house, and things like cleaning products.

I managed 20 listings out of my 100 listings. poor show on my part, but I hate doing this. But the money is good if it all sells.

I really must start using turbo lister and keep stuff on it for the next 100 free listings :rotfl: and then it won't be such a hassle for me.

so target now try and upload 5 a day to turbo lister ready.....

£3 from pinecone. Have ebay sale to but need to work out money after fees etc.

Well done on getting 20 ebay listings done:T. Don't feel bad about it, it's brilliant:beer:. I hate doing it as well. Fingers crossed all your stuff sells.

I forgot to say earlier that I received £4 from Pinecone today for doing the follow-up survey for the product I've been testing. We love the product and I'd definitely like to switch to it from my usual brand but probably won't as it's more expensive :(and I doubt it will be on regular offer like my usual stuff is , except maybe at the launch when they are trying to get people to try it.

I 'save' money on cleaning products by using the vouchers I get from postal and other surveys and shopping with them at Wilkos. Rarely have to spend any 'real' money unless I'm stockpiling things on offers too good to miss.

Had an email last week from Morrisons with an offer of a £5 voucher for a spend of £40. They add it to the Match and More account points and issue it at the till on the next shop. Just popped in there today and got it together with the other £5 I've been accruing points for, so that's a nice £10 to spend at the weekend. I love Morrisons:)

You're up late, Aesop. Are you still ebay listing?;). I'm not a night owl myself, like to get up very early in the mornings but I've got raging toothache and I'm better doing something than trying to get to sleep. Have taken as many paracetamol as I dare for the time being too. Just had a cup of tea which was a big mistake as it made it worse:(

Thanks for the advice, TheBanker, it's always good to have recommendations from other users:T.

I opted for Music Magpie for my CDs today as their prices were way above what Ziffit were offering. Nobody wants any of my books whenever I try:( but if I have another go I'll definitely try Ziffit first.

I found the opposite - for the stuff I was trying to get rid of, Ziffit's prices were roughly the same as the others but Ziffit accepted more of my items. I guess it depends on exactly what you're selling.

Interestingly Ziffit declined most of my books (paperback fiction) but they did pay reasonable prices for the non-fiction. 2 weeks after I sent the first box, I went through what was left again and that time they accepted a few of the books that they'd rejected the first time. They only offered 10 - 15p but it's better than nothing.

I also found Ziffit easier to use as their scanner app was the only one that worked properly on my phone!

I sound like I work for them lol :A

It's interesting, isn't it, TheBanker, how 2 people's experiences are so different:)?

The only time I attempted to get values for anything I was selling was a few years ago from Music Magpie (before Ziffit was even born) and they only wanted about 5% of my CDs and even then for about 20p a time:(. I didn't continue with it.

This time (different CDs by now) I tried entering the codes on Ziffit first but don't have the app (or a smartphone even) or any easy way of scanning:o and had to type them in. Kept having issues with the website freezing etc but persisted until I'd got a trade figure. Was going to accept it (seeing as they were willing to accept the whole 24) when I remembered to be MSE about it and check other sites for values and that's when Music Magpie came up trumps. Next time they might not want what I have for sale or not offer such good prices.

Have already dropped the box off at the MyHermes collect shop yesterday and the whole thing was very painless. All except the fact that they say they usually have a drop off point within a mile of people's homes! Not in the countryside where we live they don't. My nearest was a round trip of 10 miles away:mad:

Thanks, Aesop:T. You always know where to find information and things that people need. I don't know how you do it but I'm genuinely impressed:A

If I can find something reasonably priced on Amazon I'd be happy because I have about £45 in vouchers stacked up on there from surveys etc so I wouldn't be spending any 'real' money:j. From the link you posted I've had a look at all sorts of other weird and wonderful solutions which I never even knew existed before:o

Feeling a bit tired, didn't get much sleep last night:( but the toothache which kept me awake seems to have gone (for now;)) and I haven't taken any painkillers since late last night either. Going to risk a cup of tea now but keeping my fingers crossed as that made it worse last night:mad:

I used to go to bed at 9pm-10pm, then I had my son. He kept waking up every 2 hours for 2/3 years. I got used to staying awake longer, waking up every night every 2 hours.

Now DH gets up at 5.20 so I get woken up, woken up again when he leaves and then 7.30 when I get up for DS.

I goto bed late just because I am sat here doing stuff and before I know it, it is late.

    so am permanently tired lol.

Sorry to hear about toothache. Could be a filling? causing the sensitivity to tea etc. hope you can get it sorted soon. hugs.

I agree with this.... Total star Aesop!

Been back to the doctors. Got some strong pain killers. Turns out I have another chest infection. They have given me a sicknote. They wanted to give me 2 weeks, but I talked them into 1 week with the promise I would go back in a week for a check up :rotfl:

So feeling fed up/down/miserable. No work, no tips.... Perfect(!)

Gonna HAVE to do some ebaying to make my £10 a day. Just too tired. Fatigue really affects me when I have an infection.

    Oh well.... Onwards and upwards!
