Just poking my head round the door to say Hi :hello:
I'm a long term lurker since I stopped posting and joining challenges about a year ago. I still very much MSE and I'm gearing up for a blitz in December and January so I thought I'd start seeing what challenges were out there. Nice to see a lot of familiar faces :beer:
I had a quick look at my spreadsheet, and so far this month I've raised an extra £163.96, mostly on ebay sales so I'll quietly slip in and join in for the rest of the month is that's okay?0 -

Never thought of the cashback sites for this:o:o:o. Thanks for the reminder.
Just been on Music Magpie and was very surprised that they were offering more than Ziffit on every single CD in the batch:eek:. Quite considerable in some cases (£3.20 as opposed to £2, £1.92 as opposed to £1.10) so overall it made a 40% increase in price. The cashback is marginally lower but not enough to make a difference so have completed the trade and the cashback appeared in my Top Cash Back account (pending of course) immediately. Now just need to parcel up and drop off at the nearest drop-off point:j
Doubt I'd have made any more profit than this on eBay after fees, packaging and a lot of faffing so I'm happy, especially as it will be more long-term clutter gone:j.. It's my first transaction so it's a bit of a dipping my toe in the water test. Will see how it all goes before I get too carried away and euphoric;)
Last time I used Music Magpie I was pleasantly surprised with regard to payment etc so hopefully it will be the same this time.
I also found that the offer difference between the two sites was strange, some were only 1p different, some a couple of ££.£10 a day challenge 2015: £772.72 * January 2016 £116.15/£310 * November 2016 £257.18/£300

I'm off to a bit of a slow start this month but received a £5 amazon voucher from SB today. Also, I traded in my old laptop when buying a new one a few weeks ago and got confirmation today that I'll receive a £50 payment in the next 5 days. The new one was already a pretty good price and I was all set to buy it before finding out I could trade in so I'm counting this as money made if that's ok?
Expecting some survey payments soon too so really hoping they come through this month and finally got a few bits listed on ebay but still have others to photograph and list so must crack on with that.
I love seeing all the posts on this thread and the amounts people are managing to make, big or small, it's definitely inspiring me to try hard for my target this month, thank you!:)

A couple of small additions today:
Ebay sale = £2.53 (profit after fees etc)
Roadkill = 25p
New total = £58.87
For those selling books etc to the various trade in sites - I've been really impressed with how quickly Ziffit paid out, with funds in my PayPal account just over a week after sending the boxes.0 -
yres Holly Golightly, you can add the £50, well done0
