  • More fun and games with the life savers at Fistral.....
    Same thing happening to me..
I paid £7 for parking between 10 & 5 pm at Fistral, I kept the ticket receipt as they have tried to (unsuccessfully) fine me before (I'd bought a ticket and thankfully kept it as evidence). I appealed online over a month ago and still waiting for their decision. I emailed a chase up and they said it can take up to 35 days. The irony is I only parked there as needed access to my car as was taking my lifeguard assessment so I could volunteer on the beach with the local surf life saving kids. I'm sick of their underhanded fines, I guess they hope people will be fearful and just pay up
    Illegitimi non carborundum:)
  • Victoria Edge One thing I will say is at fistral if u go to the surf hire bit they have a computer which can "sort situations out"! They can change things so if u tell the guy who's had the ticket to go speak to the person in charge down there show them the ticket and the fine letter and the pic of the Tarrif they maybe able to resolve it with out having to deal with the idiots at smart!!
I wish I'd know when I got my fine for being 50p (20mins) sort and I was actually eating down there at the stable. If u loose the battle tho and don't pay. Also know people who have CCJs from there!

Slow going! I see Reginald Molehusband is still alive and reversing in a couple of places! :A

Useful for any POPLA appeal future posters might be putting together.

Or you could go to my little coastal town on the Costa Blanca, thousands of free parking spaces, beaches to die for, more restaurants than you can shake a stick at, (three course meal with wine for under a tenner), two bed luxury apartment on the beach £250K.

If you park where you should not the fine, (which you put in a machine), is €3.00. Rip Off Britain no thank you.
