Anita Dile is a paralegal for the claimant. Is that who signed the court claim ?

Well, well, well, just look who's crawled out here to offer tea and sympathy.
Arfur's the one who usually tells posters to pay up (similar to his esteemed input above), yet when he and his lad were in a similar spot of bother wanted the forum regulars to get them off the charge.
Classic! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Yes. 6 times. Same time everyday schools are open. So what, because these morons decide to let scum roam the carpark (which is funded by the very people parking on the car park) people are to just not use the trains to go to work?
You mean the very public transport into Birmingham which has been heavily invested in and also pays taxes.
Yes. Kerching exactly. Apologies for choosing to work and pay taxes only to have to taken away from by the pedofiles of the roads.0 -
Just in.
Having read around service of docs for a bit, op, there's no hope on this one
'Also - the stamp says "served on 29 Oct 2015"... in two days time??'
#
''The Deemed Date of ServiceThe CPR sets out the date on which a document is deemed to have been served, according to the method of service used. This is the relevant date for the purposes of court proceedings, not the date on which it was sent. This may be crucial in cases where there are strict time limits for the service of a particular document. It is irrelevant if the document in fact arrived after or before the date of deemed service. The deemed dates for service are as follows:
- Personal service – the day it was handed to the party unless it was given to them after 5 pm in which case it is the following day.
- First class post – the second day after it was posted.
- Leaving a document at the correct address – the day after it was left at the address.
- Fax – the same day if sent before 4 pm on a business day. If sent later, the business day after it was sent.
- Email – the second day after it was sent.''

Put arthur on ignore - you don't need to read garbage. Do this now, please.

Next, do as you've been told more than several times:
SLOW DOWN.
STOP FLITTING.
READ PROPERLY.
OBEY INSTRUCTIONS, again with a genuine Please:-)
Have you done what Umkomaas advised nearly 8 hours ago? #9?- reinforced by many of us since, when we don't get any answer.
You say ' I'm not the sort to back down at all, but I pick my battles and hassles.'
- What you are prepared to simply chuck-feed into the maw of this low-life scumpany exceeds my old age pension for a month. No thanks for that.
Caving or appeasement is not what I call 'picking my battles and hassles'.
Isn't baby, or new Mum/new parents:-) more worthy of so much money?

At least, give yourself the option of another 14 days to make a considered decision
We hope you'll realise that with help and a calm head[no evidence of that yet] you CAN deal with this.
You don't need a solicitor who is already behind you in attack, awareness, starting point knowledge and desire for vengeance.
Remember, that dish is best served cold and you are still extremely hot-headed.
This means you are not paying attention, leading to silly errors:
#46 ' The RC', presume you mean RK?
#58 'My wife is also heavily pregnant and can do with-out the stress.'' [surely?]
Not rebuking, wrapper, just trying to set you straight, have you calm.
If you knew more of mse, you'd realise that you have a top raft of expert volunteers batting for you here. They would see off any solicitor on a private parking matter in Court: this happens often, even against specialist scumpany solicitors, all thanks to this Forum.
We all started in the same way, with unenforceable invoices, later successfully beaten.
If you apply some of your 28 days in all, including the extra 14 you are claiming, you will see how it can be done, over and again.
bazster was there before me, #66.
Back to you, #72- 'These companies are vermin, their employees are low life scum, I'm not sure how much of my life I'm willing to give them.'
So, don't even consider feeding them! Obvious.
'Now my wife is home she's fuming and willing to go kamakazi at them lol'
Excellent! Now, work on it together. Brilliant that she's not bleating in submission, begging you to give in. That's what too many newbies have to overcome when helping frightened family members.
You don't. Value this. As Redx says, you'll have a better head on you tomorrow for this.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:

(eg. Does a sign deeming that "you agree to this" actually constitute a contract?)0 -
Huge thank you everyone for your input on this.
I think the plan from here is to acknowledge the claim, see what comes back from Parking Cowboys, defend the RK and see what comes of it.
Things like this aren't black and white to normal people like myself, although I'd like to think I have a grasp on common sense, the concern of (excuse the phrase) "saying something which may later harm your defence in court" and not really understanding the law isn't a nice feeling. These "people" are well versed in this, and it's unfair that although the law may be on your side, not knowing it is on your side means it isn't on your side!0 -
I promise you that these "people" (aka pond life) are not well-versed in this. More often than not when an infrequent litigant like VCS decides to have a bash at a court case they make a complete mess of it. Their hope is always that the mere filing of the case will scare the "victim" into paying up.
You might want to try contacting PPA and/or the BMPA for assistance:

And if the signs also said you had to wrap a pink bow around your car as well... ?
Your understanding of the law is clearly somewhat lacking and your comments to the OP are singularly unhelpful.
On a brighter note welcome to a very exclusive club, you've just joined my ignore list.Every generation blames the one before...
